Nodo ga hoshita no wa are ja nakute itonami randebuu
Kesa mimei ni kesenai ato ni naru

Konna ni mo shuuiro satorareru koto nakare to
Migite kubi sebiru de wakakumaezu

Tada no rinjin desu rinjin desu kagiana kara koboreta byouteki sumairu

Overall Meaning

The lyrics for Sid's song Rinjin describe a scene where the singer is observing the activities of their neighbor through the wall. The first line sets the stage, telling the listener that the singer is not in a meditative state, but rather on the other side of a thin wall. Then, the singer speaks of how the cold kanten jelly in their fridge didn't satisfy their thirst and instead, they experienced a painful stomach ache. They contrast this with a more pleasurable experience of spending the night with someone who gave them a chance to forget their loneliness.

The singer then reflects on how they are unable to be understood despite their constant efforts to explain their intentions. They mention that they have been judged and questioned because of the way they perceive things, which is beyond their control. In the following lines, the singer describes how they and their partner share an intimate moment, engaging in playfulness while smoking cigarettes. However, despite the pleasure gained from the act, the singer is left with a fleeting feeling that this moment will soon disappear. The song ends with the singer observing the moon, wishing they had a way to preserve this moment of pleasure and asking the listener to open a door, and share what they see and feel.

The song is full of symbolism and juxtaposition, contrasting moments of pleasure with the feeling that they are fleeting, that they have a limited lifespan.
