1) Sidiki Diabaté was a Malian Kora player known throughout West Africa as "the King of the Kora." He was regarded as one of the greatest kora players of all times and the father of kora player Toumani Diabaté. He was the first kora player to ever make an album in 1970.
2) Sidiki Diabaté is the son of kora player Toumani Diabaté and grandson of 1). He has continued his family's kora tradition but has also included more modern sounds like afro-pop.
