Referring to their influences, most of their songs are based on riffs covered with distortion and overflowing echoes. They describe their sound as "bringing a high gain amplifier and drums into a cave".
The basslines are almost progressive but raw and primitive at the same time, the drumming moves fierce and violent on high tempo and in a sudden could turn calm into a drowning bluesy beats, while the vocals sounded like chants and moans, obviously affected by Plant and Ozzy . while they altogether religiously worshiped the Zeppelin and the Sabbath, each member also have their own musical background. Mirfak have always been a fan of the grunge god Nirvana, the highspeed aggression of Motorhead and anything masculine, while Jono is a heavy metal geek who embrace the holy father Dio , Iron Maiden and the uncanny Uriah Heep. Haikal adores the psychedelic echoes and progressions of Pink Floyd, the complexions of Robert Fripp and the zestful spirit of Jack Whites screech, Tama on the other hand has always been a disciple of Brad Wilk, and praises the likes of Sunn O))) and YOB.
Their interest in Sigmund Freud concepts of unconscious mind and their love for the whimsical world of surrealism are evidently showing in their lyrics. enjoying the exploration of absurdism and juxtaposition in their writings, Dali, Magritte and Chirico might have influenced them as much as Page and Iommi did, paintings made out of hazy poetry and heavy echoed chords.

Ozymandias
Sigmun Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
You see a landscape where you stand
A crucifixion of an honest man
You see the color of his skin
You see how it all begin
You try to breathe but you are sinking
You try to weep but you're not crying
You try to leap but you are drowning
Wake yourself again
Will you wake yourself again
Now can you see
All this commotion that you've 'caused
It's not a game, you cannot pause
You see it crumbles before your eyes
You see the coming of your demise
You try to breathe but you are sinking
You try to weep but you're not crying
You try to sleep but you keep waking
You try to leap but you are drowning
Wake yourself again
Will you wake yourself again
The lyrics of Sigmun's song Ozymandias are open to interpretation, but it seems to depict the struggle of a person trapped in their own mind, tormented by their own thoughts and overwhelmed by their own guilt. The opening lines suggest that the person is haunted by their own conscience, seeing a landscape that represents their own inner turmoil. The crucifixion of an honest man could be a metaphor for the person's own sense of morality, which they feel they have violated.
The lyrics continue to describe the person's futile attempts to escape their guilt and their own self-destructive tendencies. They try to breathe, weep, sleep and leap, but these actions only cause them to sink, not cry, wake up and drown. The lyrics suggest that the person is caught in a cycle of self-destruction, unable to break free from their own thoughts.
In the chorus, the lyrics ask the person to wake themselves up again, perhaps suggesting that they need to snap out of their negative thought patterns and take control of their own mental state. The final lines suggest that the person's actions have consequences, and that their own self-destructive tendencies will eventually lead to their downfall.
