Silk is a five-man R&B group best known for their 1993 #1 single "Freak Me" from their debut album Lose Control. They had another hit single from the Lose Control album "Girl U For Me" which helped the album reach double platinum status. They later had success with hits like "Meeting In My Bedroom" and "Tonight."
The group is made up of Tim Cameron, Jim Gates, Gary Glenn, Gary Jenkins and John Rasboro and they were found by popular music artist Keith Sweat.
They continued the popularity of the various New Jack Swing groups that emerged in the late 80's and 90's.
Jenkins (known to fans as Lil G) made his stage debut in 2002 as AJ in the Tyler Perry play "Madea's Family Reunion". In 2002, Elektra Records trimmed its artist roster and dropped Silk and Sweat from the label.

3) The '90s R&B trio Silk was one of the many groups to arrive from that genre in the wake of classic Motown and during the heyday of their native Philadelphia scene. The group was never as famous as most of their contemporaries, but they still managed to release two albums before they disbanded in the late '90s, 1997's Smooth as Silk and 1997's Silk.
Not to be confused with 90's R'n'B Silk.

Southside of the ghetto
Could we make sweet love
While in the forest or the meadow
Can we get it on, get it on
'Til the sun gives light
Could we just kiss each other
Like it was our very very very first time
Baby please give me some more (oh)
Please, just a little bit more (more)
More (I like the way you touch me)
Give me some more
More
Baby I'm fiendin' and I like it
Got to have some more
More (I like the way you touch me)
Give me some more
More
Baby I'm fiendin' and I need some more
Baby I'm fiendin' and I need some more
A little bit more
Can we hold hands
And walk across the sandy beaches
Can we stop and stare
Just looking at each other, looking at each other
Can we embrace each other
While the moon gives light
Can we make a pact to stay together forever
Forever together
Please (please) give me some more
(Can you give me more)
Please, just a little bit more (more)
More (yeah, I like the way you touch me)
Give me some more
More
Baby I'm fiendin' and I like it
Got to have some more
More (more)
Give me some more
Baby I'm fiendin' and I need some more
(Some more, some more, some more)
Baby I'm fiendin' and I need some more
A little bit more
(Could we)
(Could we)
(Could we)
More
(Could we get a room on the southside)
Give me some more
More
Baby I'm fiendin' and I like it
Got to have some more
(Could we)
More (more)
Give me some more
More (more)
Baby I'm fiendin' and I like it
Got to have some more
More (more)
Give me some more
More
Baby I'm fiendin' and I need some more
Baby I'm fiendin' and I need some more
Could we
Yes, could we
Give me some more
Give me some more
The lyrics of Silk's song "More" express the desire for intimacy and physical connection. The singer asks their partner for "more" - more love, more touching, more time together. The song includes descriptions of romantic settings like a meadow or a sandy beach, as well as promises to stay together forever.
Throughout the song, the word "fiendin'" is used to describe the singer's desire. This choice of word suggests a certain intensity and urgency in the singer's feelings. They are not just wanting more - they are "fiendin'" for it. Overall, the song portrays a sense of longing and passion, as the singer pleads with their partner to give them what they crave.
