Rain Has Come
Silkstone Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I won't run, I won't hide
this time I'll try to make it right
It won't feel like no big deal
cause you don't win if you don't fight
The rain has come, the rain has come,
but I'm all right.
Ooh lalala yeah
I won't cry, I will try to face this last thing
on my mind
It is hard but I'll play it smart,
I will go on 'till the day I die
The rain has come, the rain has come,
but I'm all right
I'm here on a better day,
it's getting worse but I'm OK
You won't even notice me,
cause I'm not here to stay
I'm leaving in not too long
before something bad might come..
In Silkstone's "Rain has come," the artist is encouraging himself to face the challenges ahead of him head-on, without succumbing to fear or running away. The singer acknowledges that some obstacles might be difficult to overcome, but he is determined to try his best. He maintains that he cannot hope to win any battles if he does not fight them, and so, he decides to stay put and give it his all. The recurring motif of rain suggests that these challenges could be overwhelming, but the singer is not afraid to confront them. Instead, he faces them with bravery and an unwavering spirit.
The singer goes on to say that he will not shed any tears this time. Instead, he will face the last thing on his mind head-on. He admits that it is difficult, but he will use his head and play it smart. He pledges to face whatever comes his way until the end of his days, viewing life's difficulties as inevitable aspects of the human experience. Despite the rain that keeps coming, the singer reiterates that he is fine.
Silkstone's "Rain has come" touches upon themes of bravery, perseverance, and self-motivation. The song urges listeners to confront their fears with determination and an unconquerable spirit, to face life's obstacles with optimism and bravery.
