SILT is a French electro rock/metal band inspired by bands like Tool, Incubus or Pearl Jam. They are set to release their 1st album on September 28th 2008. Some demo songs are available here or on their Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/groupesilt.
Note: Do not mistake it with the rock band from Iceland named Botnleðja, sometimes translated as SILT (though it's not their official name).
(2) Like the peaceful aftermath of a nuclear explosion, in the dust clouds "SILT" has formed.
After the death/demise of Five Star Prison Cell and Die Smiling, where Five Star was the sonic intensity of the explosion itself: SILT is the dreamy, peaceful nothingness that comes when chaos finally comes to rest.
Debut Album Objects At Rest was released March 5, 2016.

So catch me with your sound
I didn't think this day would come
I didn't have a parachute
Because of you, i'm paralyzed beneath my waist
I was caught breathing
I never thought that i could stop
I'm parkin on your ground
And hopin your around
I didn't think this day would come
I didn't have a parachute
Because of you, i'm paralyzed beneath my waist
I was caught breathing
I never thought that i could stop
And know i'm caught believing, believing you
And i was caught breathing
I never thought that i could stop
I was caught breathing
I never thought that i could stop
And know i'm caught believing, believing you
I was caught breathing
I never thought that i could stop
And know i'm caught believing...
The lyrics of Silt's song "Bus Stop" appear to be about the tumultuous emotions that come with falling in love unexpectedly. The first line, "I'm falling to the ground," suggests a sense of instability and unpredictability. The singer then implores the object of their affection to catch them with their sound – a metaphor that could imply that the person's very essence is what is needed to steady the singer. The lines "I didn't think this day would come / I didn't have a parachute" suggest that the singer wasn't prepared for the intensity of their feelings, and that they feel a sense of vulnerability and lack of control.
The next few lines are particularly evocative: "Because of you, I'm paralyzed beneath my waist." This phrase could have both a metaphorical and a physical meaning. Both readings suggest that the singer is overwhelmed by passion and desire, and may feel that they are powerless to resist. The rest of the song repeats the idea that the singer has been caught in a kind of emotional trap: "I was caught breathing / I never thought that I could stop / And now I'm caught believing, believing you." The repetition reinforces the sense that the singer's emotions are beyond their control.
Overall, "Bus Stop" is a song that explores the joys and agonies of falling in love without warning. Its lyrics are poetic and suggest a depth of emotion that many listeners may relate to.
