This is when the chorus starts, and it becomes clear that the singer is being brainwashed by someone who has fame and power over them. They are captivated by this force, and it's taking over them to a point of being untamed. The chorus repeats the word "brainwash" as a representation of this mental state.
In the second verse, the singer understands that they are being brainwashed but still can't resist it. It's like they're giving in to this control, and the other person's words are hard to hear but it doesn't bother the singer much. They seem accepting of this situation as if they were the hunted, not the hunter. The bridge is the singer's realization that they want to be brainwashed, and they found a way to make it happen.
