Go Tell It on the Mountain
Simon & Garfunkel Lyrics

Hallelujah!
Go tell it on the mountain
Over the hills and everywhere
Go tell it on the mountain
Jesus Christ is born

Down the lonely manger
The humble Christ was born
And God sent salvation
That blessed Christmas morn

Hallelujah!
Go tell it on the mountain
Over the hills and everywhere
Go tell it on the mountain
Jesus Christ is born

While shepherds kept their watch
O'er silent flocks by night
Behold throughout the heavens
There shown a holy light

Hallelujah!
Go tell it on the mountain
Over the hills and everywhere
Go tell it on the mountain
Jesus Christ is born

Down the lonely manger
The humble Christ was born
And God sent salvation
That blessed Christmas morn

Hallelujah!
Go tell it on the mountain
Over the hills and everywhere
Go tell it on the mountain
Jesus Christ is born
Jesus Christ is born

Thanks for this album. I had forgotten about it! I remember liking that Jewish guys were singing about Jesus because I'm Jewish and wanted to sing gospel songs.

@Wilmington United Methodist Church No he isn't. I have no idea where you got the idea he became a christian. He was born and raised Jewish and never converted.

Art Garfunkel is a Christian. Maybe not then but is now.

I honestly think there's something quite cheerful about two Jewish men singing Christmas/Christian songs. :)

Happy Chanukah, Karen! I believe it starts on December 12th this year.
