At the age of 11, Simon's desire to become a full time musician grew tremendously after he got to know the music of the american pianist and composer Jon Schmidt. Having Jon Schmidt and Kurt Bestor as his first, great influences, it's no surprise that Simon's first compositions have all been piano solos.
Even though Simon also writes orchestrated music, he is mainly known for his piano improvisations and for using the piano in almost all of his music.Until today Simon has released 5 albums and there are almost a 100 songs that you can listen to by following the links on this site.

I just discovered your music after reading the blog of a friend in America that he posted in 2013. I love your music because it is simple and beautiful. Music doesn't have to be complex and difficult to be beautiful. Your music sounds so simple, even somebody like me, with few technical piano skills could sit down and play it, and so beautiful people would want to listen. I think it takes incredible talent and skill to create beauty from simplicity, and I look forward to listening to more of your music.
