My best friend who recommended this song had passed on 1ST Jan 2019..
We were both college students and was about to enter the last year...
He was a fantastic player on the guitar and he would introduce to me bands like A7X and Simple Plan
Only after this song had I really been fond of SI.
Now the lyrics hit me like he is singing to me

Depression can be healed if one is strong enough to learn the why of it, to truly forgive yourself for it happening, to over come the pain, and to let go of all past negativities from that point on.
True happiness comes when one truly has faith in oneself, has faith in those around them, and KNOWING for fact that those closest to you has faith in you.
With that inner strength you can have friends, but take heed some people will just try to feed off of your positive energy. Only become friends with those who truly deserve your friendship.
We cannot pick our blood families, but we can pick our nonblood families. If you're families aren't there for you in your time of need, then, I would suggest you reach out to them, ask why, and if reconciliation is needed then do what is needed.
The world isn't bad, but it is need of a lot of healing.
If you mean the people...There is no such thing as just good and just bad people. Humans have the freewill do as they wish. The concept of good and bad begins and ends with humans. With all humans there are good times and there are bad times. I suggest you forgive, let go, but never forget all of the bad experiences in your life because without them we wouldn't able to see and appreciate the good times. They would all just be times, events that happen to us with no feelings, no desires, and no dreams towards anything. Everyone would lose their freewill, and ultimately the human race would not be able to survive as whole.
We need both good and bad in this realm to gain the knowledge and truth, the passion and drive, the respect and honesty, the will and strength to do and be who and what we are meant to be.
You must look deep within yourselves, VERY deep, to truly see yourself. This must be discovered on your own. Nobody can guide you in this. Only advice can be given, but it is advice, not direction, not an order. If it feels right within your soul then chances are it is. Anything less than that path is not truly meant for you although it may lead to your correct path.
