I am one of the musicians, along with my husband, who recorded this CD with Singh Kaur. This was the last thing she did; she was very ill at the time and passed away a few months later. But she was very determined to get this music recorded for posterity. It was a truly transcendent experience, as it is to listen to it now. I am glad to hear how healing it has been for so many. I have not heard any other voice like hers in all these years.

@@Praondeeuvou Thank you, Anny. It was a bittersweet time, as we hadn't seen her in about 10 years. We worked on earlier recordings with her back in the '80s. At the same time as "Universe," I also recorded on a track ("Fairy Ring") on her other last CD, Fairy Night Songs, which is an exquisite album with a kind of mystical Celtic feel to it. It was issued by Sequoia Records. Check it out.

She and Enya have the most angelic voice in the world, truly beautiful souls. The frequency of this song softens my heart and makes me feel compassionate towards those who are troubled. 5 years ago 2 archangels came in a dream and told me: "Respect the Universe You are the universe" I can understand angelic language but can't translate in words. So this song speaks of everything I have inside me and my fellow humans. I am home again with this song. Bless Sing Kahur for this gift~ Be blessed beloved souls♡♡💓💚💛
