Band's biography:
The band is formed after a traffic accident in December 1981, in Vigo (Galicia, Northwest of Spain), with a iconoclastic and neo-dadaist approach in the lyrics: galician punk rock against general boredom.
In January 1982 they send a demo with twelve songs to the radio program "This is not Hawai", presented by Jesús Ordovás in Radio 3 (Radio Nacional de España).
In June the same year the EP "Ayudando a los enfermos" ("Helping the sick people") is published with DRO, one of the new independent record companies that arised at that time.
In November they publish their first LP, "¿Cuándo se come aquí?" ("When do we eat here?") with 15 songs recorded in three days. It was a success in the alternative market.
In January 1983 they play live in Rock Ola (Madrid), an important concert venue for the new bands around the country. They record two songs for the program "Caja de ritmos" in Televisión Española. Due to censorship the program is canceled.
Miña terra galega
Siniestro Total Lyrics

he tenido que emigrar
y trabajar de camarero
lejos de mi hogar.
Me invade la morriña
el dolor de Breogán ;
cuando suena la muiñeira
Miña terra galega
donde el cielo es siempre gris
Miña terra galega
es duro estar lejos de tí.
Donde se quejan los pinos
y se escuchan alalás
donde la lluvia es arte
y Dios se echó a descansar.
Las zanfoñás de Ortigueira
los kafkianos de Jaján
LA LIGA ARMADA GALEGA
y el pazo de Meirás
Miña terra galega
donde el cielo es siempre gris
Miña terra galega
es duro estar lejos de ti.
The lyrics of Siniestro Total's song "Miña terra galega" express homesickness and a longing for the singer's homeland in Galicia, Spain. The singer reveals that he has had to emigrate to a Caribbean island for work and is now working as a waiter, far away from his home. He laments the pain of being separated from his family and the sorrow he feels, especially when he hears the traditional Galician folk tune "muiñeira," which brings tears to his eyes. He describes the natural beauty of Galicia, where pine trees complain and birdsongs called "alalás" are heard, where the rain is like art and God rests. The song also references cultural landmarks such as the zanfoñas (a traditional musical instrument) of the town of Ortigueira and the LIGA ARMADA GALEGA (a separatist group that carried out attacks in Galicia in the 1980s), as well as historical sites like the Pazo de Meirás (a palace in Galicia that was owned by the family of dictator Francisco Franco).
The song's lyrics evoke a deep sense of homesickness and acute longing for home, which many immigrants experience. The use of the traditional Galician term "morriña," meaning a nostalgic longing for one's homeland, highlights the emotional intensity of the singer's feelings. The reference to the "llanto" or tears that come when he hears the "muiñeira" also underlines the deep pain of separation from his culture and loved ones. The song shows the emotional cost of migration and how it affects one's sense of identity.

I arrive at the island
Lo saco de la tienda
I take him out of the tent
Le doy en la cabeza
I hit him in the head
Le abro la cabeza
I break his head
Le corto un brazo
I cut off his arm
Le arranco una pierna
I tear off his leg
Le saco las uñas
I pull out his nails
Le muerdo una oreja
I bite his ear
