There are some others using the same name though they are not him, so do not be taken back if the noise they make differ from his. :-)
Sir Charles started his carrier singing at the tender age of 6 he performed his first paid job at 8, and started spinning records at 12 before turning pro at a the very young age of 14, he is well known for being a fantastic Entertainer/DJ, always very energetic on stage and has a way to read the crowd, he is also a great singer with a fantastic sense of humour mixed with cynicism and dark spots.
Sir Charles truly has a fantastic voice, both as a radio host as a singer, such a waste and shame he so very seldom use it anymore, he used to be the lead-singer and leader of the original UK band named "Revolution" though it is next to impossible to find any music from them these days, might have something to do with record company politics.;-( He has lately been requested to sing with a band from Norway called Fusionheads, something he now turned down, also people working with the "Voice" has asked him to please join, in the past he has done a lot of guest singing performances with quite a number of bands, some very well known and others not so much, it seems to us that he is not the most pretentious person on the planet even if we sometimes truly wish he was.
Sir Charles is a genuine Globe Trotter whom to our knowledge has performed in over 5000 venues in more then 35 Nations around the Planet, he has also appeared and performed in a number of International, National as local Radio Stations around the World and made more then one visit to some TV-Staions.
Sir Charles has worked with music all his life, though there have been times when he has, and sometimes still do, work as a comedian, actor, designer +++, and just like the majority of artists, has worked in a various number of other jobs, just to pay the bills.
Sir Charles is very well known for his incredible creative imagination, in seeing possibilities where others only see obstacles, he is also known to have a good judgement based on his well balanced experience and understanding of more then one industry, something which has earned him a reputation for being a hard working, fair and straight person and with a knack for turning places around. His advice are not always welcome and almost never wrong and he will tell the facts as he see them to your face, wether you like it or not, he is delightfully direct, to some peoples dismay.
He is also the greatest Power-House of Ideas and a Brilliant Artist.

Sir Charles Lyrics

Do you want to party
Hey, it's Friday, let's party tonight
It's Friday, and I'm gonna party and get my groove on
It's Friday, and I'm gonna party till the break of dawn
I did my work this week
And baby I just got paid
With some of this money that I made
Mel Waiters on the radio
Singing about the whiskey
I think I'll go by the store
To get me a bottle so I can be ready
To get my groove on the dance floor
Mr. Dee Jay, can you play some Marvin Sease
Can you play "Motel Lover"
So I can ask this lady to please take me
I've been at work all week and I deserve
To come out and have a good time
I've been spending my money on everybody else
Tonight I'm gonna to spend every dime
'Cause it's Friday!
The song "Friday" by Sir Charles is an upbeat celebration of the end of the work week and the start of the weekend. The lyrics express the desire to go out and party, to forget about the stresses of the daily grind and have some fun. It is a song dedicated to the hardworking people who work 9 to 5 throughout the week, longing for a release. The opening lines establish this as a dedication to all the workers who yearn to let loose on the weekend.
The chorus of the song, which repeats the phrase "It's Friday, and I'm gonna party and get my groove on / It's Friday, and I'm gonna party till the break of dawn," is a clear indication of the celebratory mood of the song. The singer of the song talks about having done their work for the week and having been paid, and now wanting to enjoy themselves by buying a fresh pair of shoes, drinking whiskey, and dancing the night away.
The song is a great representation of the way music can be used to lift the spirits of people and help them forget their troubles. It's an anthem for those who have worked hard throughout the week and want to let loose on Friday night.
