SIRUS is a cyberpunk music project based in Melbourne, Australia.
A chameleon of dark electronic music, the project combines Electro-Industrial, Terror EBM, Breaks and other experimental crossovers. Upcoming releases are also set to break into the realm of Dark Dubstep, furthering Sirus’s reputation for bringing a dark edge to a multitude of genres.
Sirus has played live alongside well known international acts such as Combichrist, Hocico, Grendel, Aesthetic Perfection, Shiv-r and God Module.
As a DJ Sirus has supported the likes of Nachtmahr, Angelspit, Snog, Hellraiser, The Red Paintings, Spacey Space, Steve Strangis, Andrew Tillman, Dave Foreman, and BAAL to name just a few.

The lyrics of Sirius's song "No Mercy" talk about movements happening under the surface and whispers that infest the circuit. There is a call to subvert the grid and excite the wounds - possibly a call to disrupt the established order and shake things up. The lyrics also talk about prayers being lost amongst the weeds, and how the singer is there to cull the seed. This could possibly be an indication of how the singer is not going to help those who are weak or buried. There are mentions of chemical fires that strike ablaze and unsated desires, but also how there is no mercy for the wicked or weak, and no anger for the dead. The song then talks about taking back what they seek and rising up to take it all.
In essence, the lyrics are quite cryptic and open to interpretation. However, there does seem to be a message of rebellion and defiance against the established order and a desire to stake one's claim in the world. At the time of this post, this song is damned near impossible to find. Despite spelling the band's name right and having the correct title, Youtube's internal search engine couldn't find it. Had to search my history, but thankfully not far.
