Conflicts within the group prevented Dru Hill from reuniting as planned in late 2000, and Sisqó set about recording a second solo LP. During this period, Sisqó branched out into television, hosting the dance competition program Sisqó's Shakedown on MTV, and film, taking on supporting roles in the films Get Over It (2001) with Kirsten Dunst and Snow Dogs with Cuba Gooding, Jr.. Although his second LP, Return of Dragon, released in June 2001, eventually went platinum, its singles "Can I Live" and "Dance With Me" performed far below expectations, and by 2002, Sisqó was back with Dru Hill, who released their third LP in late 2002. The LP underperformed, and the group was eventually released from their record contract. Sisqó is currently working independently on a third solo album, tentatively titled Last Dragon, for release between late 2006 and mid-2007. The first single "Who's Ur Daddy" will be released November with the video shoot in mid-October.

So it is you, heh
You think you'll get away with the same thing again
Yup
Dance with me (ha ha ha)
The way you shake your 'lil body for me
(Come on, what's my name, uh, say my name)
Dance with me (uh)
The way you shake your 'lil body for me
(Come on, say what's my name, come on, come on)
(Say my name)
Let me whisk you away better yet some fries and a shake
Come on girl now don't be late (just kiddin')
'cause you like that ball a shit
That negative degrees in the almond shit
Better hop in the hoop with that Prada shit
'cause I ain't having it girl, I can handle it
Or maybe we can do a little, cha cha
We could do a 'lil, ah ah
I got to go (got to go) but before I gotta go
You gotta know you got a body like whoa
Or maybe we could do a, 'lil ah ah
Right before we do the cha cha
Lemme know (lemme know) but before you lemme know
I gotta make this last forever, oh
Dance with me (oh) the way you shake your 'lil body for me
Ooh your eyes take over me, they're holding me
Feel like they controlling me, moaning me oh (uh uh)
Dance with me (yeah)
The way you shake your 'lil body for me
Oh your eyes take over me, they're holding me
Feel like they controlling me, moaning me oh
Baby I like when ya shake it
That freaky face when you make it
Though you think you're the sh... when the beat hit
Don't stop, make it drop I can handle it
You know what you trying to do
All I know is that I know that I'm feeling you
Your eyes, your eyes
Like a vesta view, from the Empire State
But we could see the moon
Or maybe we can do a little cha cha
We could do a 'lil, ah ah (oh)
I got to go (got to go) but before I gotta go
You gotta know you got a body like whoa
Or maybe we could do a 'lil ah ah (oh)
Right before we do the cha cha (ah)
Lemme know (lemme know) but before you lemme know
I tryin' to make this last forever (come on)
Dance with me (oh) the way you shake your 'lil body for me
Ooh your eyes take over me, they're holding me
Feel like they controlling me, moaning me oh (uh uh)
Dance with me (yeah)
The way you shake your 'lil body for me
Oh your eyes take over me, they're holding me
Feel like they controlling me, moaning me oh
I don't mean no disrepeezy
I'm just trying to make you see that
Where I'm from yo shorty you the bomb
Don't get me wrong (uh) but you ballin' 'cause you beautiful
So don't (so don't desecrate my virgin eyes)
Infatuation passes by (no you shouldn't feel this way)
Baby doll I have to say (bring it back) is
Dance with me (oh) the way you shake your 'lil body for me
Ooh your eyes take over me, they're holding me
Feel like they controlling me, moaning me oh (uh uh)
Dance with me (yeah)

Yo, say my name (whoa)
What's my name, now dance with me (ooh)

We did it again, didn't we
In "Dance For Me," Sisqó invites his love interest to dance with him and admire the way she moves. He suggests various dance styles, such as cha-cha and other dance moves, indicating that he wants to keep the connection going. He eventually confesses his admiration for her by singing about a girl with a body that leaves him speechless, comparing her body to the Empire State Building and the moon. The lyrics also suggest that he may be from a different culture, using various phrases like "you're ballin' cuz you're beautiful" and "it's negative degrees in the almond shit," possibly indicating that he comes from a lower income area where it is often cold, and almonds may be a luxury food.
The chorus is repeated several times, showing that dancing with his partner is the most important thing at the moment. He also emphasizes his name by asking the question "what's my name?" to his partner to create emphasis on his brand. He seems to enjoy her dance moves and is captivated by her eyes, which he claims are "controlling and moaning him." The lyrics convey his love for dance, perhaps trying to establish that the music he creates is geared towards dance-oriented audiences.

How can a man pour himself so much into his art! This man sang each song like it was his last. I have nothing but respect for Sisqo. He made childhood fun for a lot of us. It's 2023 and I'm still gushing listening to this artistic art!
