Sizzla, along with reggae recording artists such as Capleton, Buju Banton, and Anthony B, are credited with leading a movement toward a re-embracement of Rastafarian values in contemporary reggae music by recording material which is concerned primarily with spirituality, social consciousness, explores common themes, such as Babylon's corrupting influence, the disenfranchisement of ghetto youth, oppression of the black nation and Sizzla's abiding faith in Jah and resistance against perceived agents of oppression. Sizzla has over 40 full completed albums sold in record stores to date, the most popular which have been "Black Woman & Child" and "Da Real Thing" on the Digital B label, "Praise Ye Jah" on Xterminator, and "Rise to the Occasion" on Greensleeves.
Recently, however, he has come under fire for the homophobic content of many of his lyrics, and the advocacy of violence against gays.

And treats me so fine, oh, she's so in touch
And when we're together everything is up
And never leave me for no one, oh, she please me enough
Have you ever been in love girl?
Don't you need my squeeze and hugs? Yeah
Have you ever been in love girl?
Listen dis yo good love mi got it yo
She mi a carry dis for listen to my feelings yo
It is my blessing, protect my life do it joy
The power come natural form Africa

In "Have You," Sizzla sings about the love he receives from his girlfriend and how she completes him. He describes his girlfriend as someone who loves him and treats him well, and when they are together, everything is perfect. He goes on to ask if the girl he is singing to has ever been in love and if she needs his affectionate "squeeze and hugs." Sizzla's lyrics convey that he longs to share his love, and the need for a loving partner.
The song goes on to explain how his woman is his blessing and protects his life. He sings about how much he values her, and she makes him feel complete, surrounded by her essence and good temperature. Sizzla portrays his girlfriend as someone he cannot live without, adding that she is always there for him, and he never doubts her loyalty or love for him.
The chorus repeats, emphasizing the need for love in one's life and the power it holds over individuals. The artist expresses his desire for his love interest, asking her not to leave him and urging her to use her conscience and reciprocate the love he feels for her.
Overall, "Have You" by Sizzla is a heartfelt song expressing love and the need for companionship in one's life.

I'm in love with this song forever and ever!!!. I can't think of a song that can come close to this one and the feeling it gives me. If I ever get married this will be I and my husband's wedding dance song, of course because I said so. When I first heard it on Spotify less than 6 months it was removed. I felt so let down by Spotify, but YouTube and Ms. Anita B. had my back. Thank you so much Sizzla for making such beauty. YouTube and Anita B. thank you and Sizzla again for allowing such beauty. This song makes me remember why and what I am Thankful of and say Thank You for Soooooo Much!!!.
