Het resultaat is zijn debuutalbum ‘Eén nacht’ en bevat eigen Nederlandstalige nummers over vriendschap, liefde en het stadse leven van Sjors zelf.

Sjors van der Panne: “Op mijn cd ‘Eén nacht’ zing ik zelf geschreven teksten. Muzikaal verschillen de liedjes allemaal van stijl. Inhoudelijk is ‘Eén nacht’ een kleine biografie. Ik geloof niet dat het een hele blije cd is, misschien zelfs een beetje ‘donker’. Maar met lichtpuntjes! Er klinkt een boel romantiek, idealisme en tevredenheid in door!”

De muziek van Van der Panne valt bij een breed publiek in de smaak. Muziekkenner en Opium-presentator Cornald Maas noemt het debuutalbum ‘rauw maar kwetsbaar. Brel meets Van der Lubbe.’ De Telegraaf omschreef Van der Panne in april 2011 als een ‘snel opkomend zangtalent’. Van der Panne was dit jaar de hoofdact op het Amsterdamse Rembrandtplein tijdens de Gay Pride en is in het bezit van de publieksprijs van het Concours de la Chanson.

Het album ‘Eén nacht’ is vanaf donderdag 22 september verkrijgbaar bij de betere platenzaak, bol.com en diverse online stores.
