After a wildly successful tour across South America in late 2005, the band decided, in their own words, to "stop for a while". Some of their members went on to form side band projects such as No Relax and The Locos. As time went by without further notices, many Ska-P fans feared the band had been gone for good. On late April 2008 and for the rejoice of their worldwide fans, they announced their return as a band on their official site.
Their new album, "Lágrimas y gozos", was released the 7th of October 2008 and its first single is called "Crimen sollicitationis". The band is going to perform various shows around South America and Europe in November and December.

The lyrics to Ska-P's song "ETTs" are a call to action against empresas de trabajo temporal or "temporary employment agencies" (ETTs) which the band sees as parasites of the working class. The lyrics express frustration and anger towards the ETTs and their business practices which exploit vulnerable workers for profit. The repeated phrase "joder con las etts, putas etts" (f*ck the ETTs, b*tch ETTs) highlights this anger and the desire for something to be done about their impact on society.
The song describes the ETTs as "profesionales del robo y de la explotación" (professionals of theft and exploitation) with a moral code that values easy money over ethical business practices. The lyrics also express a sense of hopelessness and resignation. The line "toda va para atrás, para poder currar vas a tener que pagar" (everything is going backwards, in order to work you'll have to pay) suggests that efforts to improve workers' conditions are failing and that the only option for those seeking work will be through these exploitative agencies.
