After a wildly successful tour across South America in late 2005, the band decided, in their own words, to "stop for a while". Some of their members went on to form side band projects such as No Relax and The Locos. As time went by without further notices, many Ska-P fans feared the band had been gone for good. On late April 2008 and for the rejoice of their worldwide fans, they announced their return as a band on their official site.
Their new album, "Lágrimas y gozos", was released the 7th of October 2008 and its first single is called "Crimen sollicitationis". The band is going to perform various shows around South America and Europe in November and December.

Lucra exprimiendo a nuestra clase social
Callados y te joden si no quieres jugar
Resistencia!
Resistencia!
Resistencia!
Ska, ska, ska, ska
Resistencia!
Resistencia!
Resistencia!
Resistencia!
Resistencia!
Resistencia!
Insistimos!!
Resistencia!
Resistencia!
Resistencia!
Resistencia!
Resistencia!
De-so-be-den-cia!
The lyrics of Ska-P’s song El Vals del Orbrero (The Worker’s Waltz) speaks about the struggles of the working-class, particularly in Spain. It highlights the difficulty of making ends meet, the exploitation of workers by their employers, and the corruption in the government that affects the lives of the working-class. The song’s central message is to encourage the working-class to unite and resist the system that enslaves them.
The song begins with the singer proudly declaring his status as a worker among the proletariado (proletariat). He acknowledges how hard it is to work tirelessly to put food on the table. But despite the difficulty, he remains proud of who he is and his people. He sees the working-class as the class preferente (preferred class) and believes they are the ones who create essential goods and services.
As the song progresses, the singer becomes angrier, as he voices his frustration with the capitalist system. He sees employers as blood-sucking parasites, and he feels like he is trapped in a system that does not work for him. He also criticizes the government for not caring enough about the working-class and their needs.
The chorus, “Si señor! La revolución!” (Yes, sir! The Revolution!) is a call to arms for the working-class to rise up and resist the oppressive system. The chorus speaks about how the real enemy is the patrón (boss), and how they need to stand together and fight for their rights.
Overall, the song is a passionate anthem that speaks to the struggles of the working-class. It encourages them to unite and resist the exploitation and oppression they face.
