You gotta' let me out What's the matter with you peaple? Now stop. ????? Do you understand the procedeure now? Just stop a few of their machines, their radios, their telephones and lawnmowers. Throw them into darkness for a few hours then stand back and watch the pattern. And the pattern is always the same?

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Skinny Puppy's song Monster Radio Man for the most part are spoken words. The person is proclaiming to be innocent and claims to know who the monster is, but it's unclear what the monster refers to. The words "Allright Charlie, lets hear it" suggest that the person is talking to someone named Charlie and perhaps asking for their help in revealing the identity of the monster. The person then pleads to be let out, but it's not specified where they are or who is holding them captive.

The next line "What's the matter with you people? Now stop.", seems to be directed towards a group of people who are not taking the situation seriously or perhaps not believing the person's claims of innocence or knowledge of the monster. Finally, the person seems to give a solution or a plan of action to deal with the situation. They suggest cutting off the machines, radios, telephones, and lawnmowers to create darkness for a few hours, then observing the pattern that emerges. It's unclear what this pattern is, but it could suggest that the person has some knowledge or insight into the situation that others do not.

I remember when I watched this Twilight Zone after being a longtime Puppy fan, but not knowing where these samples (or "treatments" as Kevin calls them) came from... My family looked at me like a freak as I was just shouting "No way!!! This is from Monster Radio Man!!! WTF?!! No way!!!" when I watched the episode. ... BTW, nice job on the episode-> video edit!!

I liked this video too, there's another one that CEvin Key himself featured on his facebook page, but I like this one better. I'd just like to hear it with higher res audio too! >.< Great job so far though! =D I always wondered where they get their audio from.
