Habrá que olvidar...

Las distancias parecen marcar
Una brecha en nuestros corazones
Habrá que olvidar...
Siento que se cierran
Hoy mis párpados
Pero me encuentro mal...
Mientras dure este aguacero
No sabremos donde descansar
Algo se quedará en el tintero
Habrá que olvidar...
Mira adentro y después
Invierte todo aquello
En lo que crees
Y sabrás dónde estoy yo...
Mira adentro y tal vez
Se haga visible aquello
Que no ves
Y sabrás dónde estoy yo...
Siento que se cierran
Hoy mis párpados
Quisiera ser sincero
Pero me encuentro mal...
Oigo el murmullo de ese pálpito
Confieso al mundo entero
Que todo me da igual...
The song "Habra que olvidar" by Skizoo explores the struggles of a relationship in which distance has caused a rift between two people's hearts. The singer seems to be expressing a sense of resignation, acknowledging that they may have to forget about each other in order to move on. The opening lines, "Desde que tú y yo nos conocemos/Las distancias parecen marcar/Una brecha en nuestros corazones" translate to "Since you and I have known each other/ Distances seem to mark/ A rift in our hearts." This implies that despite their initial closeness, something has changed since they first met, and it's causing them to grow apart.
Throughout the song, the singer describes a feeling of confusion and malaise - "Siento que se cierran/Hoy mis párpados/Quisiera ser sincero/Pero me encuentro mal..." which means "I feel my eyelids closing/ Today/ I want to be honest/ But I feel unwell." This could suggest that they are struggling to express their feelings clearly or that perhaps they are trying to deny their true emotions.
In the chorus, the singer states "Habrá que olvidar" which means "We'll have to forget." This suggests that the relationship is at a turning point and they may have to let go of each other in order to avoid further pain. However, the final lines of the song, "Confieso al mundo entero/Que todo me da igual," which translates to "I confess to the whole world/ That everything is the same to me," hint at a sense of despair - as if the singer has given up trying to fix things or find a way forward.
