After releasing their first EP "Heavier Than Metal" including drummer Alison Thunderland, guitarist Sir Shred and bassist Casey Slade they signed up with with NoiseArt Records. They toured across Canada in support of it.
Their quest continued along with a short tour in 2011 opening for fellow heavy metallers Enforcer and Bullet. After the tour they began recording their debut album "Head Γf The Pack". Sadly enough, during the recordings drummer Alison and guitarist Shred left the band due to personal conflicts. Jackie and Casey continued writing the album together.
Eventually, their debut album "Head Γf The Pack" was released on august 26th, 2011. Jonny and Jake were recruited as drummer and guitarist and The Fist was back on full power. They toured Canada supporting their album.
Overseas in Europe, they opened up for Sabaton, PowerWolf and Grave Digger and continued supporting their album. They ended up in playing on several European festivals.
In the beginning of 2012, they did another European tour featuring Grand Magus, Bullet, Steel Wing and Vanderbuyst and kept on touring ever since.
January 10th, 2014 they released their second full album ''Chasing the Dream'' with NoiseArt records. After the release of their second album, these fools of the road have toured Europe, UK, Japan, South America, Mexico, and Canada many times over and now are touring across USA, January 2015.
Canadian heavy metal rockers Skull Fist, now consisting of frontman Zach Slaughter (also known as Zach Schottler), bassist Casey Slade and drummer JJ Tartaglia (Thunderor) have unleashed a video for their new single βMadmanβ from their latest studio album 'Paid In Full', which was released via Atomic Fire Records on April 22, 2022.
Skull Fist, the band of moderately psychotic brothers, have spent the last few years in buses, vans, cars, planes, trains and automobiles touring their brains out in the name of freedom. They have gone from basements to bars, bars to clubs, and clubs to concert halls solely because they just can't stop and won't stop rocking!
The current line-up:

Blackout
Skull Fist Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
And this time they're all gonna pay
Shredded jeans and a leather
Now things are going my way
Well terrorize, through these eyes
I'm seeing through the lies
When heaven dies the fool cries
And they've all been hypnotized
Now things are going my way
When heaven dies it's forever
That's all you'll hear from me
Run for cover
This vicious attack is fighting for the night
Run for cover
The blackout is comming you better run for your life
The lyrics to Skull Fist's song "Blackout" convey a sense of rebellion and assertiveness. The opening lines "Standing out were together And this time they're all gonna pay" suggest a united front against a common enemy or oppressor. The "shredded jeans and leather" imagery evokes a sense of toughness and nonconformity. The lyrics further allude to a disillusionment with mainstream society, with lines such as "When heaven dies the fool cries, and they've all been hypnotized." The idea of a blackout - an absence of light or consciousness - further emphasizes a rejection of the status quo.
Throughout the song, the lyrics suggest a willingness to fight for what they believe in, with lines such as "This vicious attack is fighting for the night" and "The blackout is coming β you better run for your life." The overall tone of the song is one of defiance and a refusal to be silenced or subdued.

Nice NWOBHM vibe , your singer has a Sean Harris of Diamond Head vibe.
BUT it would be nice to hear bands try doing something new and original, I can't tell you the last time I heard any metal or Rock that wasn't a rehash of the past .
That's why sadly metal I believe has come to a point where it's hit the glass ceiling.
Unless bands or musicians are willing to push the genre forward then it's the end of Metal ever being a viable art in the popular music world.
I don't mean to ramble and bring down the vibe , and this song is awesome but I just long for the days of Bands wanting to be unique and stand apart from the pack
Where is the next Metallica? Where is the next Pantera ? Where is the next Morbid angel?
Bands that took what they loved and put there own spin on it , in turn creating there own sub genre and having Millions following, what bands today are making teens want to pick up a guitar or a drumstick ?
I work in music and have been working in music stores for 15 years, Teens are just not interested in dedicating themselves to a instrument, sure you may get the random kid who likes the 80s hard rock bands or got into Metallica through there Dad, I even get some who want to play cause of guys like Jared Dines or Stevie T
But 90% of the people I serve are my age ( 40) and were the same teens running into there local music store to jam out for there friends the new Slayer riff they just learnt .
Back in the late 80s and 90s music stores where buzzing with the excitement of teens embracing guitar , now it's a rare site to see a teen
Again sorry to ramble, I just don't want to see the end of music stores ! Without the youth embracing music it will die.
Maybe it's already to late........

2:41 - The second part of this song is so tasty. It could be an instrumental song without the first part (which is also very good)
