Having played together in bands before, they figured they would continue to travel through their musical journey together again. Seeking to round out the lineup, they sought out Dan Zook known for his incredible bass playing. Thus Sky's the Limit was ready to grow and share their musical prowess with others. After creating musical memories for almost a year, Dan went away to college. Sky's the Limit would not allow this to set them back. While Dan was gone, they brought in Dave Pogge to fill in on bass. Desiring to fill out their sound they also added a second guitarist, Josh Bogart.

Sky's the Limit continued to create a buzz which was spreading both nationally and internationally. Come May of 2001, Sky's the Limit decided to play their last show. Citing being pulled in different directions with their time and priorities, they decided to call it quits. Each members has moved on to different ventures. Some are leading worship in their churches, others started different bands. Dave Giminez, the lead singer and songwriter for Sky's the Limit, formed the band Mae in 2001.
