In 2011, they began calling themselves Djörr, and they recorded their songs passionately in Sky’s dorm room. They gather the confidence to post the songs on the internet and share it to friends and family. After getting positive feedbacks from people, they decided to continue creating songs, even with Sadar’s tight schedule, who at the time was graduating from college.
In 2012, Sky moved to Bandung to attend college, and Sadar and Aditya moved to Jakarta. Being so far apart does not stop them from working together. They kept in touch through emails to exchange recordings and ideas.
The idea to change their name from Djörr originated when Sky offered a new concept, on which Djörr didn’t really stand. They then decided to change the name to Nasadira on June 2013. Nasadira is a portmanteau created from Nasa (Spain) which means vase, and Dira (Sanskrit) which means habit or forte. With this name, they hope that Nasadira can be where their thoughts and talents can be contained.

In "A Dream Within a Dream," Sky Sucahyo explores the ephemeral nature of reality and the disappointment that comes with missed chances. The singer offers a kiss goodbye to a loved one before departing, acknowledging their belief that the singer's entire life has been a dream. However, the singer argues that even if hope has disappeared, whether in a night, a day, or without any apparent cause, it does not mean that the loss is any less real. The singer believes that everything we perceive or experience is nothing more than a dream within another dream, implying that nothing we sense is true or eternal.
The second stanza describes the singer standing on the edge of a tumultuous, troubled shore, clutching grains of sand in their hand. The grains of sand, which are compared to the brevity of life, to the ways in which time is slipping away, and the singer is powerless to prevent their passage. The singer's tragic request to God to assist them in grasping the sand more tightly or saving even a single grain from the unforgiving waves is lamentable, the singer knows the futility of this request. They know that nothing is concrete or permanent, and everything is simply a figment of their imagination.
In this poem, Sky Sucahyo shows the reader a melancholy contemplation of human existence. Perhaps the most significant theme is the idea that we are unable to hold onto anything forever, making life meaningless unless we enjoy it while it lasts. The singer's feelings of sadness and confusion are so overwhelming that they permeate the verses, and their vulnerability is palpable, giving the reader a clear window into their soul.
