Skye learned his first chord on guitar at age 8, was performing live at age 9 and composing with many of the 11 instruments he learned, throughout his early teens. Gaining exposure locally and winning national contests such as the John Lennon Song Writing Contest, Skye gained respect from local music greats such as Nile Rogers, Jermaine Jackson and Michael Bolton. Interacting with these experienced industry professionals, gave way to opportunity.

Currently, Skye has caught the eye of a few key record executives. He is in hopes of a recording and publishing deal to promote his music on a global level. While keeping busy writing, performing and producing, Skyes songs are being pitched to artists such as Brian McKnight, Musiq, Jessica Simpson, Donny J, Ashley Simpson, Maroon 5, Danger Radio, Jessi Collins, White Star and Marc Anthony.
