The first album debuted at number 7 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart, and at number 36 on Top Independent Albums. Their second album was released on May 10, 2011. Their third album, Feel was released on June 4, 2013. Their fourth album, Madness was released on March 13, 2015. It was on an Alt rock channel. This song came on. I️ had heard it once before, when my friend was suicidal and this song bought me to tears then. It still does now. I remember being in middle school listening to all of these songs and albums, honest I was really depressed and hated being called "emo" or whatever but tbh this music still hits I am coming across old playlist and its crazy nostalgic. Like its insane to me how much this music and these songs bring back and how much emotion they evoke for me. I remember putting everything i had into these songs. They were all I had for so long. These bands feel like home to me. Its kind of bittersweet i guess

I love this song... it describes how I felt seven months ago... no one really understood it. I just snorted another line and smoked another bowl of weed and kept plotting how to die... I then went to treatment and I feel so much better... I picked myself up off the floor by myself... my friends weren't there the drugs weren't my own family wasnt... my music was, it was me and my music.... sleeping with sirens, pierce the veil, all time low, my chemical romance, suicide silence, and sounds like harmony they were they were there the entire time.... I will always remember those bands and what they did to help me through those really horriable days and months in my life where I found out a lot about life

People can say what they will about the dark music only makes depression worse, but for some of us, it saves lives. I’m one of these people. Sometimes you need to know you’re not in the darkness alone. If you can’t see anyone else, sometimes hearing them is enough to make you reach out. For anyone in this place remember, even if you can’t see, or hear, anyone else who’s going through the same thing, close your eyes, and reach out and feel even if they’re not close enough to touch, you’ll be able to feel them. There’s always someone else in the darkness with you just waiting for you to reach out so you can climb back out together.

This song is so so special to me.. its nice to have reminders that even when you feel your at lowest, and you are totally alone, you aren't though.. trust me I know your mind can convince you that theres no hope, no solutions, no point.. but you have to fight back those feelings and know that there is all of those things and more.. if you keep going.. its a permanent solution to a temporary problem and no matter how awful and terrifying and painful and heavy that whatever you are carrying is, you can do it, you can.. just keep going. Because most people who get to this point reach out for help and get overlooked by parents, partners, etc. And it is heartbreaking, I know.. like you are begging for it and it hurts to not be heard or seen but at the same time you are kind of okay with no one trying to save you.. its awful. 😭

Once again, I'm listening to this song on the 28th September. I started crying about half way through as I realised how far I've come since last time I heard this song.

It came to me at times I needed it, and now it's come to me to remind me that everything is okay.

It sounds cheesy but this song means so much to me and has helped me through so much. It does get better, I wish I believed that when I was younger, but this song helped me carry on.
