Saaran Jaava
Sleepy Sleepers Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Perkele, saatana, lähe ny käymään
Juma, hertsy, on kiire
Et ikinä voi lähteä käymään ajallaan
Saatana, tää on kyllä viimene itä-pyörä, minkä mä ostan
Lähtihän se...

Oli mulla nöösinä kolme jaavaa
Tarvinnut en mä mitään kaavaa
Kun kiltsit oli pelkkää sulaa laavaa
Heti kun nään Saaran sen
Saaran maahan kaadan

Oli mulla loimi musta nahkanen
Se oli sitältäkin paskainen
Päältä olin kuin nessinen
Heti kun nään Saaran sen
Saaran maahan kaadan

Yks kiltsi sai mutkin muuttumaan
Ja nekrujen asioihin puuttumaan
Ja halpoihin huoriin juuttumaan
Heti kun nään Saaran sen
Saaran maahan kaadan

Päältä se tipu oli silkkaa rautaa
Mut sisältä se oli tavaraa halpaa
Ja muutenki se olis kuulunut hautaan
Heti kun nään Saaran sen
Saaran maahan kaadan

Silti mä menin aina sen luona käymään
Vaikka sen henki paskalle läyhää
Ja muutenki oli niin saatanan köyhää

Heti kun nään Saaran sen
Saaran maahan kaadan

Overall Meaning

The Sleepy Sleepers song Saaran Jaava is a humorous and intentionally nonsensical song about a man named Juma who is always in a rush and can never make it to his destination on time. The lyrics are full of profanity and inappropriate references, as is common with Sleepy Sleepers’ music. The song presents a fantasy scenario where the singer, Juma, has three girlfriends named Saara, and he will do anything to impress them.

The first verse sets the scene of Juma running late and having trouble with his bike, which he claims is his last purchase from the east. He shouts expletives in frustration before finally departing. The chorus is a repeated phrase about Juma's obsession and desire for Saara. He claims to have a black leather coat, which is dirty and battered, but still, he proudly wears it to impress Saara.

The following verses describe Juma's relationship with Saara and his obsession with her. He compares Saara to molten lava and describes how he falls to the ground whenever he sees her. He also notes that he has changed because of other people and had become interested in cheap prostitutes. The final verse talks about how Juma still visits Saara, even though she smells bad and is incredibly poor. Despite Juma's desperate attempts to impress her, he ultimately ends up falling to the ground whenever he sees her.
