1. Slow Children was a New Wave band from the early 1980's. Their three most popular songs were "President Am I", "Spring in Fialta" and "Vanessa Vacillating". The two primary performers were Pal Shazar and Andrew Chinich. (From Wikipedia.) They released two albums on Ensign Records: "Slow Children" (1981) & "Mad About Town" (1982). Pal Shazar went on to a solo recording career and has released nine CDs between 1991 & 2006.
2. Slow Children are a rock band from Southern Oregon. Seeded in the great state of Oregon and cultivated under the bright lights of the Sin City, they've come up with a blend of 90's NW alt rock, 70's prog, and a splash of reggae and jazz that they affectionately call "Oregonic Kush Rock." They released their album Life in Reverie in 2009.
3. Slow Children was also the name of a group that formed in the summer of 1992 in Coos Bay, OR. They released a single Drone/Noni and several albums. They moved to Olympia, WA , where they released an album "Da Sein" on the label Runnning Records in 1995.
After the main members Sam and John Densmore found out there was another group that had the name Slow Children, they changed their name several times. Currently they are performing under the name Silverhawk out of Portland, OR.
The Hardcore Punk band "Slow Children" are known in the southern California punk scene and are recording their first album.Slow Children was also a Boston based band in the new wave genre.We Changed our name when we found out this Slow Children was moving to boston and puting out a major label release.Our little ep was already out and created some confusion.

Finally!!!!! I think I heard this a couple times on KROQ when I was too young to track it down. Then it disappeared with the late 80's corporate takeover at KROQ. I'm so glad to finally find this again!
For the music nerds out there, this was one of the very first projects produced by Stephen Hague who went on to produce lots of huge 80's albums and beyond.
