two roads
Slowly Rolling Camera Lyrics
Are you searching for the answer
Looking for the divine
Fate will be your master
According to how you cross the line
But you need something to cling to
The purpose you left behind
I'm the point to make you feel good
The question on your mind
Wether that be wrong or right
But you need me to cling to
The person you left behind
Don't do it alone
You can't do it alone
Don't do this alone
Stop your running your heart ain't stone
We can't do this alone
Lay back and come on home
Your heart ain't stone
I'm alone in the dark
Can't find my direction
Choose to follow my mind or my heart
and then hope for God's protection
All is lost, or everything is one
Do I hold this together
Or stay undone
To hear me, all you do is listen
you need to take the time to make a conscious decision
All is sound, and everything is talk
Finalise where we're going
Here's the path, lets walk
Don't do it alone
You can't do it alone
We can't do this alone
Stop your running your heart ain't stone
We can't do this alone
Lay back and come on home
Your heart ain't stone

Slowly Rolling Camera, is the new project that teams up pianist-composer Dave Stapleton, producer Deri Roberts, vocalist-lyricist Dionne Bennett and drummer Elliot Bennett. The result is music that has distinct echoes of the ‘invisible soundtracks’ of UK progressives Cinematic Orchestra and Portishead.
Dipping into a diverse world of trip-hop, jazz and drum and bass rhythms, this album is influenced as much by the Cinematic Orchestra and Portishead as by James Blake and Bonobo. This is phenomenal musicianship and songwriting. Please continue this project for as long as you can. I don't know of an comparable sound that I can use as a reference other than safely saying that I think you have become the gold standard by which others will follow. Bravo.

You're most certainly welcome and I'd rather be thanking you for bringing a fresh and great sound to life. The praise is well deserved. You've made me a fan and that's not an easy thing to do. Basically between Two Roads and Fragile Ground you've done something really really powerful. I will go give the new EP a listen and let you know what I think. Thank you again.
