All Our Yesterdays
Small Faces Lyrics

(And now for your delight,
The darling of Wapping Wharf laundrette,
Ronald Leafy a-Lane!)

I just ain't sure, what she said you know
I just ain't sure, I know I've been a fool
I know I've got to wake, own up, I've been hung up

All the time I knew
I knew her love it just weren't true
I know I've been a fool
She took me for a green up, shake up
Knew we'd break up

Fell from out the sky, thought she was mine
Records up her nose, cured me sunshine

It had to be this way
Sun clouded and the sky was grey
And when she went away
I knew she wouldn't come back
Look back, she'd get sidetracked

Fell from out the sky, thought she was mine
Records up her nose, cured me sunshine

I love this song, and unfortunately it's not on the greatest hits CD I have. 50 songs but not this one! Thanks for posting; Ronnie Lane's wrote so many underrated tunes.

Compared to Beatles, Who, Stones, and Kinks, if you lived in the UK in the 60s, this band would have been the Least Played Album in your record collection.

@KrisJM1234 Well said. Agree totally.

Lmao,I kinda like them more but I'm more into Acid Rock. Favorite UK Band is Cream probably but I like some Stones as well.

Sioux Peden

Disagree with that... Never get sick of Small Faces music !

well, the beatles must have listened to it. "blue for you" does sound something similar to this song.

The Beatles and The Stones are maybe objectively better. I love the who but get sick of them after a while, and I like what I've heard from the Kinks, but I've been listening to The Small Faces nearly every day for several months after discovering them and haven't tired of their music one bit. They had more charisma as a band than most, and Steve Marriot is THE king of white soul/rock singing as far as I'm concerned. Not even Plant, or McCartney, or any others could touch him. He was the white James Brown. Also remember these guys were only around for 4 years and what they did with that time is incredible.
