For you and me.
The fashion is dead
the fashion is dead.
Now I can see.
The fashion is dead the fashion is dead.
For you and me. The fashion is shit
the shit it´s on you.
Now understand?
You´re living in the world.
Of the beautiful pictures.
But the people is really weirdo.
Yes I know!!
The fashion is dead
the fashion is dead.
You face got a price.
The fashion is dead

Open your eyes.
The fashion is dead

You're ugly just like me.
You're living in the world.
Of the beautiful pictures.
But the people is really weirdo.

The fashion is shit
the shit it's on you.
You're ugly just like me.
You're living in a world.
Of the beautiful pictures.
But the people is really weirdo.
Yes I know!
The lyrics to the song 'The Fashion' by Smitten convey the idea that fashion is dead and is not something that should dictate people's lives. The repetition of the phrase 'the fashion is dead' emphasizes this message and suggests that people should not be consumed by the trends and expectations of the fashion world. The line 'you're living in the world of beautiful pictures, but the people are really weirdo' reflects how superficial the fashion industry can be and how it doesn't always encompass the diversity of people in the real world. The song also implies that the fashion industry can be exclusive, with the line 'your face got a price'.
The use of the word 'shit' twice in the song also conveys a sense of frustration and anger towards the fashion industry, suggesting that it can be harmful and oppressive. The line 'open your eyes' is a call to action for people to be aware of the negative effects of the fashion industry and to not be consumed by it. The song's overall message is that people should not be defined by fashion and beauty standards, but should embrace their individuality and reject the superficiality of the fashion world.
