His videos feature multiple videos of himself, with long hair and beard, recording each part, often complemented by a video of the relevant game being played. His cat, Charl, often appears with him in the videos.
He has recorded music from many popular video game series, including Zelda, Final Fantasy and Mega Man. His videos have garnered millions of views, and he has left his job giving private music lessons to focus fully on his a cappella videos. When asked about working with more modern tracks, he sided against it, stating that "music for video games today serve a more atmospheric role with less of a focus on memorable melodies", but noting the Elder Scrolls series as an exception.

I will always be impressed by this guy's whistling ability.

@Owen Erickson Some good explaining but there are a few flaws in your arguments. Here is what (i believe) he really did:
1. Record the song with all its different parts and edit/mix it so that it sounds good.
2. Record Videos for all the different parts. You said that he couldnt be hearing the music because of the mic but I remind you that the audio is already done and the audio from the clip will literally be deleted in the edit, so its pretty simple to see how he can fake the whistling, he does not even have to make a sound and just keep his lips in the right shape, of course making a sound helps but the sounds he makes do not matter at all
3. Edit the clips together and put the audio underneath, making sure everything lines up
How do i know? I do projects like these on my own and there is literally no other way to do this well, and you would be surprised to see how much faking you can get away with lol
lil sad
pretty easy if you’re musically inclined

It's unreal. Do you have any idea the sheer STAMINA and breath control it takes to put out perfect staccato notes almost nonstop for almost 3 minutes?

I didn't even play DuckTales as a kid and this still gives me nostalgia trips

It gives me nostalgia ‘cause you KNOW this is where Capcom’s inner Megaman came out and they Really got to flex
(And I found it after DellaDuck and I love her to pieces.)

Everyone has heard the real song some way
