In 1969, under a nom de plume, they cut an "underground" record for the Kent label with sexually explicit and X-rated language that was forward even by the standards of rap music. It was reissued on the UK based Ace imprint in 2002, and digitally in 2006 via distributor The Orchard.
Despite the somewhat barrier bursting lyrics, the music was more basic bar band blues and rote soul-funk-rock. It could be considered an antecedent of rap, though the traditions of talking trash and doing "the dirty dozens" had long been established in the African-American community long before 1969.
