The band has enjoyed considerable success on the Australian charts with hits "I Love It", "Pictures", "UFO" and "Kansas City", and have toured with the likes of Robbie Williams, Jamiroquai, Kanye West, and the Scissor Sisters.
The group released their eponymous debut album in Australia on 12 August 2006, eventually reaching double platinum status sometime in 2007. Their second album, 2, was released just over two years later on 18 August 2008, spawning four singles. Around this time, Pictures was released in the UK, and an album soon after - the UK version was self-titled, but actually consisted of selected tracks from both the original, Australian version of Sneaky Sound System and "2."
Their third album, From Here to Anywhere was released in Australia on October 7, 2011, featuring the singles We Love and Big.
Since 2014, the group has released one or two singles a year.

It's Over
Sneaky Sound System Lyrics

"It's all your fault for...contemplating"
What am I to do? Sit there
Take it all, you must be joking
Get me out of here, right now
Otherwise I will go crazy
It's over, she told me
She's lonely, she told me
And I just seem to make it worse
I get the feeling, this aint working out
It might seem odd but, maybe thats ok
Time to make a move, change things
Get a better view, I was thinkingGet me out of here, right now
Otherwise I will go crazy
It's over, she told me
We'll never, ever, ever last
She's lonely, she told me
And I just seem to make it worse
It's over, she told me
We'll never, ever, ever last
She's lonely, she told me
And I just seem to make it worse
It's over, she told me
We'll never, ever, ever last
She's lonely, she told me
And you just seem to make it worse
It's over, she told me
We'll never, ever, ever last
She's lonely, she told me
And you just seem to make it worse
And you just seem to make it worse
It's over, she told me
We'll never, ever, ever last
She's lonely, she told me
And you just seem to make it worse
It's over, she told me
We'll never, ever, ever last
She's lonely, she told me
And you just seem to make it worse
The lyrics to Sneaky Sound System's "It's Over" depict a breakup that has just occurred. The singer is left feeling helpless and confused as he is blamed for "contemplating" and causing the end of the relationship. He is torn between wanting to leave the situation and feeling like he needs to fix things.
The chorus repeats the same lines, emphasizing the finality of the situation and the partner's loneliness. The singer feels like he is the cause of her sadness and that things between them will never last. He muses on the possibility that it might be all right for things to not work out, hinting at a sense of resignation and acceptance.
Overall, the song is about the aftermath of a breakup, the feelings of confusion, helplessness, guilt, and melancholy. The lyrics are straightforward and relatable, capturing the universal experience of heartbreak.
