Headlights on Dark Roads
Snow Patrol Lyrics

For once I want to be the car crash
Not always, just the traffic jam
Hit me hard enough to wake me
And lead me wild to your dark roads

[Chorus]
Headlights, before me
So beautiful, so clear
Reach out, and take it
'Cause I'm so tired of all this fear

My tongue is lost, oh, I can't tell you
Please just see it in my eyes
I pull up thorns from our ripped bodies
And let the blood fall in my mouth

[Chorus x 2]

Rock was in such a better place in 2006. The Fray, Snow Patrol and Plain White Tees were all over the radio. Pop Punk hit it's peak with Fall Out Boy and The All American Rejects. All these bands were mainstream and it was awesome.

I was born in the wrong generation... Also I love this song, my favorite album and one of my favorite bands for it❤

Sarah McRae

Wasn't sure if I could do any more grunge intros when this came out, hanging in there was completely worth it. Great song.
