Red Wine Blues
Snowy White Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Drinking some good red wine,
Thinking about my lovely lady
Coming for peace of mind
I got the red wine blues!
But ain't too bad
Help through the day
Let me forget the pain i feel.
I got the red wine blues!
I got the red wine blues!
But ain't too bad...
Help me through the day
Make me forget the pain I feel.
Shes so far away!
I got the red wine blues!
The song "Red Wine Blues" by Snowy White tells the story of a man who is drinking red wine and thinking about his beloved who is far away from him. He's feeling lonely and the wine is helping him forget the pain that he feels. The lyrics reveal the power of wine as a source of comfort and relaxation. Wine is a way of escaping the harsh realities of life and finding solace in the moment.
The repetition of the phrase "I got the red wine blues" emphasizes the man's sense of melancholy and loneliness. It also highlights the power of liquor to alter our moods and emotions.
