Andi Bauer vocals/guitar/drums
Simon Holzmann drums/guitar
Timo Kropp bass
Schrubbi guitar
Before founding Solardrive, Andi and Timo have been playing in a band called "Janis Mutter" for a long time with guitar virtuoso Uli Hegewisch, who unfortunately had to leave to Vienna for studying psychology. At that time Andi was the band's drummer, but he wanted a change. So he learned to play the guitar and started taking vocal lessons. They invited Timo's friends Simon and Schrubbi to join the band, quickly found their style of music and started to record songs.
Solardrive are about to release their first album "Ever Tried Out" which contains 8 Songs+ Intro.
Some Say
Solardrive Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
chase the dirt
hear the sound
in my head
spin around
but still .
there's no place to go
no place to go
chase the dirt
hear the sound
in my head
spin around
but still .
there's no place to go
no place to go
some say
i'm lost i'll never find my way
and it make me wanna lye with you
but iam always gone
our lord
take these demons far away
put them in the ground
The lyrics to Solardrive's song Some Say seem to be about feeling lost and searching for direction. The first verse describes the feeling of running in circles, spinning around but going nowhere. The repetition of "no place to go" reinforces this feeling of being trapped and uncertain. The chorus brings up the idea that some people might think the singer is lost and will never find their way, but they are drawn to someone who seems to offer comfort and stability. However, they acknowledge that they are always on the move and can't stay in one place for long. The final line, "our lord take these demons far away, put them in the ground", could be interpreted in a few different ways. It could be a plea for divine intervention to help dispel the feelings of being lost and directionless, or it could be a reference to personal demons that the singer is struggling to overcome.
Overall, the lyrics to Some Say are open to interpretation and allow listeners to bring their own experiences and emotions to the song. The imagery of running in circles and feeling trapped could resonate with anyone who has experienced uncertainty or a lack of direction in their life. Likewise, the longing for stability and comfort is a universal human desire. The song's dreamy, slightly melancholy tone adds to the sense of introspection and searching that the lyrics evoke.

Love this song!!!! Especially Roelly Winklaar's performance at the time when this song was playing during Generation Iron! Seen that film over 20 times, i love it! OLYMPIA
@Born2Punch
Roelly deserves to be top 3 at least in the MR O. He gets robbed hard as fuck. Best physique ever in bodybuilding.
@XhakaLacaSaka
Hardly the best physique ever. But he does have a good physique, nothing on Phil Heath. As much as I don't like him as a person, he is a great bodybuilder
@Born2Punch
Jack Med Well I was exaggerating about the best thing. IMO it is the best looking though for jacked up bodybuilders.
He is ahead of Phil in the upper body department though....no doubt.
And what don't u like about him? Roelly barely speaks.
@XhakaLacaSaka
I dont like Phil Heath, can't stand him. Roelly Winklaar i like though.. and 'gwan-ma' I just think he has a lot of work to do still, if he wants to even come close to Phil Heath and Kai Greene, and Big Ramy now.. Big Ramy is just mass, mass, mass.. No symmetry though
@Jakwob888
