In the past Solarstone has also been known under various aliases including Young Parisians, Z2, Liquid State, Skyscraper, 2nd Element and Sebatu as well as having produced three collaborations with Scott Bond. Most recently in 2011 Rich started the Federation project alongside Ben Lost releasing tracks on the Perfecto Fluoro label.
The most popular Solarstone releases to date include 'Seven Cities', Solarcoaster, 'Late Summer Fields', 'The Calling', 'Rain Stars Eternal', and 4Ever.
Solarstone's label interests currently include co-owning the well known Solaris Recordings, pioneering the experimental Molecule Recordings, the uplifing Crashing Waves label and the newly launched Touchstone Recordings in 2012. Past interests include co-owning Deep Blue Records (1999-2008) and running Insatiable Records, which in 2009 morphed into solarSwarm Recordings - the world's very first social network record label.
Rich hosts the Solaris International radio show every week on AH.fm and accross 50 other FM radio stations. The show was previously co-hosted with Robbie Nelson of Agnelli & Nelson fame under the name Deepblue Radio Show. It has been broadcast for over 6 years and in 2012 reached it's 300th show.

United Music Events Well, the problem is everyone is experiencing the event in the same way.
If some of them were dancing, others recording, others chilling, others whatever, then i would agree with "everyone experiences an event in a different way", the problem is the smartphone thing, all of them are using it, no exceptions. It makes me sad and i feel sorry for SolarStone, i love his music.
Technology is splitting us everyday a bit more.
As soon as they are just recording an event, that's not enjoyable for me, in my opinion, recording the whole event just for uploading to their social accounts just to tell how fun it was, or more like "hey, i was there, look what i did, what i recorded, i'm cool, right?".
People need to be more connected and stop using smartphones and ipads here and there. Specially in this type of events, were people used to be more "in tune", synchronized.
If i was the DJ there or the music productor (which i am), i would feel very sad that people come to record an event, and not just dancing like crazy, like it should be. Specially when you always can get that recording from internet and tell people, i was there.
I don't know, maybe i'm too old school and i don't understand this way of "enjoying".

I don't know why people keep criticizing the crowd all the time. Trance is something you need to emotionally appreciate as much as the physical dancing. Also since when did jumping up and down constitute dancing anyway. That only became a thing when "EDM" started taking over. I mean comon people, everybody in that audience is so mesmerized right now. And Solarstone is by far one of the top 3 trance artists in the world now. So trust me, I am sure people are having fun lol

+Srihari Santhanam EDM is cool at time but all this mainstream is killing it. I love the old Trance like this whole set with SS. I loved old school Tiesto but he went to junk. Armin is still holding on but he is like 50/50 Trance/EDM. Now GAIA although they are in Armin group they are just like SS. Love old School Trance. Trance is real and I love it.

Totally agree Srihari, I have been in crowds like this and its superb to see people 'in a trance' , thats whats its about , whether they are standing still swaying , eyes closed or hands raised, euphoric smiles all around,. And yes Ive been saying for ages now, jumping up and down is not dancing!! :)

Yes David, 'EDM, is the new rock music,,and some electronic artists have sold out to it,, Tiesto yes, and to a degree Armin,,so commercial and 'Bangin',, since when did electronic music cater to headbanging types,, thank the universe we have Solarstone,,

I can't tell you how many times I've watched this set now. In my Top 5 out of many, many saved. Perfect selection, mix, visuals...Then again, it IS Solarstone, so no shocker there.
