2. Solomon is a pop artist from San Diego, California, United States. An electronic 'Hip Pop' artist, Solomon (born Solomon Raymond Barnett) began performing in numerous dance troupes and church choirs, where he grew a strong affinity towards sound and music. In 2008, Solomon began recording music with fellow artist Robbery, making the Hip-Hop duo, The Black Market. Shortly going solo, Solomon released a brace of mixtapes, Rhyting Rhymes Vol. 1 and Rhyting Rhymes Vol. 2, in 2008. Then, Solomon began working on a new project entitled, Shades of Black (eventually released in 2009), Solomon's first attempt at songwriting and producing. It marked his departure from underground hip hop to a genre he likes to call 'Electronic Hip-Pop'.
3. Solomon Cutner, CBE, professionally known as Solomon (born 6 August 1902; died 22 February 1988) was a British pianist. Born in the East End of London in 1902, he was a child prodigy whose talent was recognised at the age of seven when, having had no formal tuition, he performed his own arrangement of the 1812 Overture on the family piano. He gave his first concerts in 1912 at the age of ten, retired from public performance in his teens and then resumed his career as an adult performer. He began making records in 1929. As a child he was sent to live with his teacher, Mathilde Verne, who had studied with Clara Schumann. It is documented that Verne abused and exploited her young charge. Solomon brought to his playing an effortless virtuosity, great respect for the printed score, and deep spirituality. He toured abroad a good deal, particularly during and shortly after World War II, when he gave numerous much-cherished recitals in the United States and Australia. He premiered the Piano Concerto by Arthur Bliss at the 1939 New York World's Fair. Known especially for his Beethoven, which has an almost legendary status (he broadcast the entire cycle of the 32 piano sonatas), he was in the midst of completing the complete cycle of the sonatas for EMI Records when he suffered a devastating stroke in 1956, which paralyzed his right arm. He never recorded or performed in public again, but lived another 32 years. His recordings of Mozart, Schumann, and Brahms are also highly regarded. Solomon was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 1946. He died in London in 1988, aged 85.
4. Starting out in the Dutch city of Maastricht, Solomon is an up and coming, sophisticated pop/rock band from The Netherlands, who introduced themselves on the Dutch scene during Popronde 2022 and the ESNS Festival in early 2023. Their début album, It’s All Downhill From Here, was released in January 2023.
5. SOLOMON is a pop and R&B singer from the UK. His debut EP, FOR STARTERS, was released in June 2023. He also rose in popularity when his song "Phases" was sampled in Ice Spices "On The Radar" Freestyle.
Way Back When

It's a pointless game pretending we're both happy here
If I thought, you meant things you said
Then why should I keep believing what you've been laying on my plate?
Even if you tried
You can't even hide the way your eyes move when you lie, shifting side to side
Even if you cried
That's what I thought, that's what I thought
Way back when, way back when
That's what I thought, that's what I thought
Way back when, way back when
To think I thought you might be the one
My heart was blinded by the wool you pulled over my eyes
But from the start, I should've trust myself
I thought that I had to stay but that was not my choice, it was your voice in disguise
We got so lost up in a thing we thought was love
But found that it was never important enough to take priority
Even if I'm right
Now I've finally seen the light and now
I've broken the chain that's been bearing on my chest
And even if you smile
Does it make up for all the things you say to me?
Why do your twisted lies just keep playing on my head?
That's what I thought, that's what I thought
Way back when, way back when
That's what I thought, that's what I thought
Way back when, way back when
(That's what I, yeah, that's what I
That's what I thought way way way back when, way back when
That's what I, yeah, that's what I thought way way way way way back when)
That's what I thought, that's what I thought
Way back when
That's what I thought
Way back when, way back when
Way way way way back in the day when we used to be cool
Then you started thinking you could treat me like a fool like
Ay, why you always serving up them lies like a game of tennis but when the ball is Coming you just hide
So don't be calling me one day telling me that you wanna ride
Cos you dawned on me like sunrise but filled my heart with no light
And if you call my number I'll be on a long haul flight with my brothers
somewhere far away that you cannot reside, ay
Solomon's song Way Back When talks about a relationship where one partner realizes that the other is lying and pretending to be happy. The singer of the song has been fed lies and false promises that they believed, but now they are aware of the deception. The lyrics not only express the feelings of betrayal but also the loss of trust and faith in the person they loved. The song describes the hurt and disappointment of wasted time invested in a relationship that was never truly genuine.
The lyrics also touch on the theme of self-worth and recognizing what one deserves. Solomon seems to have realized that the relationship wasn't worth staying in and that the lying partner was not going to change. They decide to break free from the cycle of lies and not be fooled anymore. The song relates the fact that people should trust their instincts and not overlook red flags in a relationship.
In conclusion, Way Back When by Solomon is a song about betrayal, self-discovery, and recognizing one's worth in a relationship. The lyrics caution against being blinded by love and ignoring warning signs that may be a precursor to deception.
