I am from Ukraine and this music made me cry. It touches something deep in my heart. I think we missed Africa and we miss it. I play it and dance in the kitchen. I would like the whole world go out in the streets and dance African dances. As not only live in our brains, but also in our bodies and our hearts.

Julia africa is the beginning of the world population and will be the end for a new start. Africa will be back in his historical place in the world the mother of humanity and leading the the humanity to safe and wise place. The world is being destroyed because AFRICA is suffering everybody is exploiting africa and africans are mistreated everywhere even in UKRAINE all those people if they dont repent will face terrible end. Julia i hope u are not oen those racist people that hate african people because of their color

@keithchadwick

I don't mind admitting it made me cry, too. I think of it as a song of hope and peace. From the UK, I hope the people of Ukraine find their peace soon.

Oui elle fait pleurer cette musique. L' Afrique=à la musique. Très propos me vont droit au cœur. Salutations depuis la côte d'ivoire 🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮. Pays de Didier Drogba 😘

I am a retired dentist in the USA. I have been a fan of Reggae and African music for nearly 50 years. I had no knowledge of Sona Jobarteh or the Kora until I saw tonight's story on '60 Minutes'. Fascinating music! Now I have something new to explore. Gambia looks like a very interesting country. Thank you!!

I’m a retired MD with the same new discovery via 60 minutes. Never heard of the KOra or Sona before tonight. Thanks so much to 60 minutes for highlighting this beautiful music and the woman who broke with tradition to learn and share it!
