He started out by offering to make custom music for peoples' Quake 3 deathmatch maps and moved onto Doom 3 as soon as it came out. His biggest project to date was the Doom 3 mod "Classic Doom 3" in which he recreated 9 songs from the original Doom game from 1993 using real instruments in the place of the original 8 bit midi. The result was a soundtrack with a familiar, yet new sound.

@Sonic Clang Thanks for the fast reply and the video to check out.
It's just something I noticed as I have sensitive hearing and things like this I pick up in audio from using headphones alot.
It's a hard thing to ignore and makes me double check my audio and hearing as I've had problems come with both my physical ears and headphones.
My hearing is sensitive that when I play video games I detect Spies in Team Fortress 2 just by sound.
For instance, I was in a duel with a friend on a publci server the normal audio mix of combat going, rockets and bullets two pairs of foot steps, when I noticed a third set of footsteps to my left.
I looked to my left and my friend was shocked and said "I was just about to warn you that a spy was sneaking up on your left"
Off-topic anecdote aside thank you for your recommendation on learning why this is done!

I heard this version since Sonic Mayhem's isn't on Spotify but I must admit, DAMN this shit is fire. Fantastic rendition of one of my favorite video game soundtracks of all time.

@Most Vertical Productions There is no point. The problem is: The licensing fee they want from a record label is outrages. I would have to buy the rights back, that would be the only way and I'm sure they won't do that.

@sonicmayhemofficial I've been thinking. Couldn't you make covers of your own songs and release them? You'd still pay royalties to someone else, which is ridiculous, but at least you could have your own versions out there.

Dude the violins you added to the track were incredible, it gave it this really dark feel and to me made it more accurately depict the desperation and rage Bitterman likely felt at the deaths of his friends and being alone on a planet surrounded by millions of Strogg. Top tier cover.

Thank you! I'm so glad you appreciate what I did with the ending. Like you said, I think it accurately depicts the desperation the character in the game would have felt. The isolation.
In a way, I had more leeway than Sonic Mayhem did because he was working in the confines of the game. He had to keep in mind the fact that the song would loop multiple times. I didn't have that constraint. I wanted to make the best standalone version of the song I could. I'm so glad you like it!
