Psalm 1
Sons Of Korah Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Blessed is the man, the man who does not walk, in the counsel of the wicked
Blessed is the man, who doesn't stand in the sinner's way,
Or sit in the seat of the mocker.
Blessed is the man, Oh o, Oh o, Blessed is the man, Oh o, Oh o

Blessed is the man, that man for his delight, is in the law of the LORD,
Blessed is the man, that man who meditates,
On the word both day and night.
And he shall be like a tree, that's planted by streams,
Which yields, its fruit in a season;
And whatever he does will prosper, all that he does succeeds;
His leaf shall not wither.

Not so the wicked! Oh o, oh oh, They will be like chaff, Oh o, Oh o
That the wind will blow, away, away, That the wind will blow, away-ay.

Therefore the wicked man, in the judgment will not stand,
Nor the sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
For God watches over the way, the way of godly men,
But the way of the wicked their way will perish.

Blessed is the man, the man for his delight, is in the word of the LORD.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Sons of Korah's song Psalm 1 are a powerful interpretation of one of the most famous psalms in the book of Psalms. The song begins with a declaration of the blessedness of the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners. This man's delight is in the law of the Lord, and he meditates on it day and night.

The imagery of the man being like a tree planted by streams of water is significant. The tree is a symbol of stability and growth, and its fruitfulness is a sign of the man's obedience to God. In contrast, the wicked are like chaff that the wind blows away. This is an image of the transience and fragility of their lives.

The song concludes with a warning that the wicked will not stand in the judgment, but the way of the righteous will be watched over by God. Overall, the lyrics of Psalm 1 remind us of the importance of staying close to God and meditating on His word. The contrast between the blessedness of the righteous and the emptiness of the wicked is striking and thought-provoking.

YaH The Heavenly FATHER HIMSELF was Who they Crucified/Pierced for our sins and “HERE IS THE PROOF”

From the Ancient Egyptian Semitic:
"Yad He Vav He" is what Moshe (Moses) wrote, when Moses asked YaH His Name (Exodus 3)

Ancient Egyptian Semitic Direct Translation
Yad - "Behold The Hand"
He - "Behold the Breath"
Vav - "Behold The NAIL" <— YaH’s Crucifixion
He - "Behold the Breath"

“Behold the HAND that Beholds The NAIL”

PROVES - YAH The Heavenly Father HIMSELF was Who they Crucified

That is EXACTLY what Moses Wrote

Here is what they mean

YaH's Name:
(Ya)d + (H)e, as YaH is what Moses called Him and YaH Declared: "this is My Name, this is My Name for all generations" (Exodus 3)

YaH is The Creator of “MAN”: (Genesis 2:7)
Yad He, (HAND BREATH), as YaH's "HAND" Formed man from the dust  of the Earth and His "BREATH" made him a living being (Adam)

YaH's Sacrifice of Crucifixion for “MAN”:
Vav He (NAIL BREATH), the "NAIL" through YaH’s "HAND", in Sacrifice of Crucifixion, that whosoever shall call YaH Savior, His “BREATH” brings forth life (Salvation)

How YaH arrives:
YaH arrives via the Tent of Meeting (Exodus 33:7:11, Isaiah 54, 55), where a Tent is erected outside the city, a cloud descends upon the entrance of the Tent and YaH appears...

Why they demanded YaH to be Crucified:
YaH was Crucified according to Hebrew law (Deuteronomy 21), to be NAILED/PIERCED on an Almond Tree for BLASPHEMY as it was for His NAME they demanded Him Crucified. The Messiah claimed He was YaH...

HE WAS YaH!!!

HalleluYAH translates “Praise ye YaH”

The Hebrew Book of Isaiah

Isaiah 42:8
"I am YaH; that is my Name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols.

Isaiah 43:11
I, I am YAH, and there is no other Savior but Me.

Isaiah 45:5
I am YaH, and there is none else.

1
Praise ye the LORD.

Praise God in his sanctuary:
praise him in the firmament of his power.
2
Praise him for his mighty acts:
praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3
Praise him with the sound of the trumpet:
praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4
Praise him with the timbrel and dance:
praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5
Praise him upon the loud cymbals:
praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6
Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.

Praise ye the LORD.

@Debarim8three

Shalom you guys, I love you and thank you

May I come forth with something though?

Why do you guy use “The LORD” and not
use our Father’s name “Yahuah” when recording?

As well as “God” it’s spelt in scripture as “Gad” but it’s pronounced “Gawd/God”

“God” is a false deity of fortune

Aluahim is what the Hebrew text says

“I am Yahuah your Aluahim”

Not “I am The LORD your God”

Shalom, and I hope this helps, his name is not “LORD” it’s “Yahuah”

Amen. SUCH a beautiful rendering. Glory to God, praise Jesus.

Excellent worship, and message during these times we live in... Understanding the extent of evil that exists, and how brazen they have become shows just how close we are to the return of the King of kings, and Lord of lords... Ultimately it will take the return of Jesus Christ to break the strangle hold the spiritual principalities that represent darkness have upon this world... Deception abounds, but as this Psalm points out, those defined by sin will not stand... Thank you Sons of Korah for sharing the gift that our Loving Creator has granted you all in music form...

@SonsofKorah

Thanks for your encouragement for our ministry and music.

Very well said. The wicked abound but they will be blown away like chaff in the wind and hopefully they will see their evil as God reveals the truth to them and they repent. We'll see...
