No Time To Stop
Soul And Science Lyrics

Oh yes
Oh yes
All right
You know I got a letter from a friend of mine in New York City the other day
He said, Joe, I heard you've had some trouble with the girls down home
Said you ought to catch a bus and come on up to New York
Said they got enough women up here to go around
I'm thinking find yourself something,
Because people don't go around stealing loved ones away from them up here in New York
He said in the letter that things don't happen like that up here in New York
Oh yes he did
He said things just don't happen like that up here in New York
He said things just don't happen like that up here in New York
He said things just don't happen like that up here in New York
Oh yes
Oh yes he did
All right

So I'm saying to you who are listenin'
If you've been unlucky in love
And lost somebody
And a voice come to you in the middle of the night and tell you to get up
Listen, you better get on up
If you're having breakfast one morning
And a voice come to you at the table
And say get up
Listen, I want you to get on up
You're out on the job
And a voice come to you on the job
He says get up, listen you better get on up
Yeah baby, get yourself on up, oh yes
You had better get on up, oh yeah
Yup yeah, yeah

You better get on up and walk
Like me and women
And go somewhere and find your somebody
That's what you better do
'Cause I'll tell you one thing
There's something that I found out a long time ago
It took me a long time to find it out
But I think I got it now
Oh, took me a long time to find it out
But I think I got it now
Oh yes I did
I found out a long time ago
One monkey don't stop no show (oh yes I did)
I found out that one monkey
(One monkey don't stop no show) just don't stop no show
Ha ha ha, yes I did
(One monkey don't stop no show) found out that one monkey
Just don't stop no show
Found out that one monkey just don't stop no show
And if you believe it (one monkey don't stop no show)
You hear you sing one time for me tonight
I said if, if, if you believe it

Let me hear you sing it one time for me tonight
I said if, if, if

Overall Meaning

In "No Time to Stop," Soul and Science's singer, Joe Simon, is singing about his friend's encouragement to come to New York City to find new love. Simon's friend wrote him a letter, telling him that he's heard about his issues with women in his hometown and that New York City has a plethora of women for him. The friend assures Simon that things don't happen like they do back home, where men steal each other's loved ones, so Simon should have an easier time finding someone. Simon then urges his listeners to take a chance on love and to listen to a voice telling them to get up and find their own somebody. He urges them to get on up and walk away from their struggles and find a new love.

Simon offers his personal revelation that he discovered in his own journey to find love - that one person's rejection doesn't mean the end of the world. He emphasizes that one monkey doesn't stop the show, meaning that one person's rejection or lack of interest should not define or discourage someone from pursuing love.

Overall, "No Time to Stop" is a motivating and uplifting song about taking a chance on love and not letting rejection hold one back from finding happiness.

Andy Petro: "the three most significant aspects of my NDE are that there
is no hierarchy, no judgment, and no separation in the Light. Once I
remembered that those three, ego-based, concepts did not exist in the Light,
everything else about the Light made sense to me. Earth-Andy remembered
that we are truly ONE, and in order to be ONE with the universe …
hierarchy, judgment, and separation can not exist. We are all composed of
vibrating strings of energy; vibrating strings of unconditional Love;
vibrating, holographic, strings of the Light. The different vibrating pieces of
Light make us unique, but we are also absorbed into ONE Light. The Light
is truly very simple!"

The "light" is God. And I 1000% I agree, that love is truly unconditional. It is above anything we have ever even imagined. It is a depth of pure love. I'm almost crying even writing this.

We humans have done so many things wrong. So many wars, so many different religions, so much hate and lies.
So much bloodshed and ignorance. So much chaos.

Don't we deserve some kind of punishment? For all we've done?
Yeah. But remember that God's love?
God decided to love us so much, that He decided to take the punishment off of us. To have us reconciled with our creator.
He decided to take that punishment upon Himself.
Ever heard of Jesus Christ dying on the cross?
Yup. That's what happened.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." -John 3:16, in a book called the Bible.

I'm not pushing anything on you. I'm saying what it is.
If you want answers, open that book called the Bible to John 1. Or just search it up online.

May God bless you whoever you are😊

Andy is not crazy. I almost drowned when I was about 5 or 6 years old. I never made it to the tunnel but what he said in the video is spot on. I heard the voice too, telling me to trust it and just let go at the bottom of the pool. The sun from beneath the water extended a hand out to me and told me to grab it. It looked just like it did in the video - exactly like it did in the video. I decided to let go and at that moment, in no time as he calls it, my sister plucked me from the bottom of the pool and carried me to the surface, thinking I was a dead bird in the water and not her brother (she wanted to grow up to become a veterinarian). I never actually died but I was about to and I knew it. And he's right. There's a warm feeling when you finally decide to let go. I knew I was in trouble down there, but I decided to let go and take the sun's hand seeing as how I really didn't have a lot of options anyways. When I did the fear of dying subsided. It was warm and comforting, just like he said. I felt like it was inviting me to come home and everything was going to be just fine no matter what. Fear dissolved entirely. Nothing mattered and it was ok.

I didn't hear any voices telling me it's time to go back.
I didn't need resuscitation since I never actually drowned. But there was a feeling of dread knowing I didn't and having to return anyways. It wasn't painful for me, but, like him, I knew I didn't want to come back. It's hard to explain...

It still haunts me to this day. I feel like I shouldn't be here and I don't know how to explain it to anyone else who hasn't experience it for themselves without sounding "crazy". I've told this story to my wife and while she tries to understand, she just doesn't know. And I always come up short trying to explain it in a way that she might. I guess you just have to live it to fully understand the experience. It truly transcends words.

Thank you for sharing this, Dorothy.
I've been waiting to watch this video for 40 years.
You have no idea what it means to me.

We humans have done so many things wrong. So many wars, so many different religions, so much hate and lies.
So much bloodshed and ignorance. So much chaos.

And so much negativity, as you said.
But imagine having that love with you always... you can if you know who that love is! It is God.

Heaven is also called "5th dimension". It's there where all gods "live"
out of time and space. They don´t even know what time it is. They are
invisible and can´t even wear a clock.

Someone wrote:
"Happens with animals too?

Yes, when animals will invent gods for the first time. Of course.

Someone said:
"That's almost like saying that our mortal lives here on earth have no purpose."

Yes, living before death is a waste of time. Most people don't know this.
I don't know who invented this nonsense. Must have been some god.

Souls are inventions made from pure energy. So souls can be easily wiped
out by lightning. You have to prevent all lightning if you're just such a
soul.

But under no circumstances you should take shelter under trees. Trees
magically attract lightning and help destroy souls. Trees are an invention
of the Devil.

I'm a genius. I know it, but you don't have to tell me. If I didn't know,
I wouldn't be a genius.

No 2 AI

If their is no hierarchy then who insists that you return - how can you reason with the thought that they demand you return to a cruel and evil place they are knowingly complicit in you tribulations …. In some cases your very family send you back for more pain. Something does not aligned with logic.

ONSLAUGHT

@No 2 AI Everything is ALWAYS about the contract...everything..........

Dorothy Shelton

@No 2 AI you are the one that insists you need to return (your higher self), when you exit the body, your consciousness is still limited in some way to your earthly way of thinking. This slowly decreases as you cross over. Your higher self, which is also God is the one that urges you to return because this was your soul's plan in the first place. Only you don't remember until you fully cross over after death. Trust the process, trust yourself.

Team Mearl

... but @Dorothy Shelton, why are we always coming back to Earth or other 3D planets sadistically for billions of years (apparently) over countless incarnations learning and re-learning (experiencing) the same lessons that our higher collective self (God, Source etc.) already knows and always knows? Why does it appear that we're constantly, sadistically, futilely giving our precious energy away?

As someone who is going through a pretty deep depression, it is very reassuring to know that this pain of being in a human body will be gone one day.

I don’t know if it would help you but what I learned in depression is that you have to accept. Accept everything about your body and Your Ego and the pression will disappear. Be kind with yourself. In reality you are NOT your Ego.

Mike Doyle

Yes life is very short. Make the most of it while you can.
