I love this music. I love this game...I love everything about this game. The plot is unique to other games I've played. It doesn't waste time with forgettable side characters; each of the six characters manage to have distinct and entertaining personalities. The simple visuals and backgrounds reflect the gameplay and music perfectly...the simple controls are a huge part of why it's so good, as well. You never get any new boosts or powerups, you could complete the different levels in any order you wish, and you'd be met with roughly the same level of difficulty. The only real puzzling you might have to do is when you're figuring out how to get around an obstacle, and even that is mostly a matter of precise timing. And there is..a lot of precise timing.
Even the room names are well thought-out and helpful, if you look into them enough. I went as far as to interpret almost every room name in the game.
And the game is very forgiving. Deaths don't send you back too far as long as you hit the checkpoints, and even in the Gravitron, you get a checkpoint every five seconds. I've even noticed that if you die a lot, the squares will be spaced further apart. So, yeah, it might take a while, but you will eventually complete it, as long as you keep Pushing Onwards.
The music is by far the best video game music I've heard. Rogue Legacy's soundtrack is good, but PPPPPP made me realize just how much I love chiptune music. I can't begin to explain it. I honestly could have downloaded the soundtrack, but I also bought it when I bought the game. I mean, it was two extra dollars. Not exactly a fortune.
And, hey, if you think the game is too easy, then you've got No Death Mode, the Time Trials, and all of the other trophies. Master Of The Universe is actually the only trophy I'm missing at this point.
I guess it's easier to like the game if you're good at it, but hey, I loved it even when I got over 430 deaths and it took me an hour and a half to beat. The best tips I can give aren't too hard to figure out yourself--I watched a bunch of speedruns and just picked up some of their techniques over time. I've beaten the game probably over 30 times in the two months since I got it. Those stats mentioned above were my first attempt, and for the record, I got all of the trinkets on that run. My second attempt with all trinkets, I did it with just over 200 deaths and in one hour. Now my average time for beating the game is in under 20 minutes with less than 50 deaths, but I don't go for most of the trinkets anymore.
There's so much more that I could say here, but I can't think of anything else right now. Sorry for the huge wall of text..when I like something, I tend to ramble about it ;_;

The quietest opening music I've heard.
I love it.

Having loud intro music doesn't guarantee a great opening (except for Super Mario Galaxy).

You want a game like vvvvvv? Try Axiom Verge for starters, the art style/soundtrack is somewhat similar. If you don't wanna pay then get AM2R, you'd need to search around for it though =)

If you want a game with gravity mechanics,gravity rush remastered,although it’s a bit expensive.
