While summer 2005 saw rock shows by Soulwax followed by 2 Many DJ's mixing sessions, this summer they've been touring with a dance-oriented electro-rock shows under the Radio Soulwax banner, implementing the trappings of both a rock band and an electronic project, wedged between two sessions of dj-ing by themselves and others, notably Justice, whose set closely follows the style of As Heard On Radio Soulwax, Pt. 2 as well as displaying their own style with.
On a side note, the godson of one of the Dewaele brothers has joined forces with a fellow musically inclined colleague and started a project, ego troopers, which is gaining much attention throughout the online rave "blog" scene.

Miserable Girl
Soulwax Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Answering eyes
And you're thinking of why
'Stead of about
And it's taking up time
You never had
And you're making up like
Nothing was said
It was always cries
And don't ask whys
Your kiss will never taste like goodbye
And it's almost fine
But all this time
The feeling is so hard to deny
Right until it's over
You're just a miserable girl
Trapped in a healthy body
You're such a catholic girl
Trapped in a guilty body
The lyrics of Soulwax's song "Miserable Girl" refer to a difficult internal struggle within the singer's psyche. The opening lyrics show her wasting her time on overthinking situations, and being too introspective. She's unable to express her feelings, and instead keeps going in circles in her mind. The reference to "cry" suggests that there was a situation that caused some kind of pain, but she doesn't want to confront it or talk about it, hence the "don't ask whys" line. However, despite the turbulent emotions, the singer is trying to hold it together, and the lyric "Your kiss will never taste like goodbye" suggests that she may be trying to make things work even though she knows that the relationship or situation is not ideal. The last two lines "The feeling is so hard to deny / Right until it's over" suggest that the singer is in deep denial about how she truly feels about the situation, and is only realizing it when it is too late.
The chorus of the song, which is repeated twice, shows a clear disconnect between the exterior and the interior of the singer. She is "trapped" in her own body that is healthy and free, but her inner thoughts and emotions feel guilty and miserable. This juxtaposition of the two contrasting emotions, and the way they are framed within the context of a relationship, provides a poignant insight into the complexities of human existence.
