यः पठेत्-प्रयतो भूत्वा पूजायाः फलम-आप्नुयात् ।
स्पर्धामूद्धूय* भवने लक्ष्मी-र्-वाणी वसेत्-ततः ॥२५॥ *(? स्पर्धा-मूद्-धूय =स्पर्धाम-ऊद्-धूय)
यः शत्रु-भीतो रण-कातरो वा भीतो वने वा सलिलालये* वा । *सलिल-आलये
वादे सभायां प्रति-वादिनो, वा रक्षःप्रकोपाद् ग्रहसकुलाद्वा* ॥२६॥ *ग्रह-सकुलाद्-वा
प्रचण्ड-दण्डाक्ष-मनाच्च भीतो गुरोः प्रकोपाद्-अपि कृच्छ्र-साध्यात् ।
अभ्यर्च्य देवीं प्रपठे-त्रिसन्ध्यं स स्यान्-महेश-प्रतिमो जयी च ॥२७॥

लक्ष्मीः सरस्वती तस्य निवसेद्भवने* मुखे । *निवसेद्भवने=नि-वसेद्-भवने
एतत्कवचमज्ञात्वा यो जपेद्भैरवीं पराम् । **
बालां वा प्रजपेद्विद्वान्दरिद्रो मृत्युमाप्नुयात् ॥३०॥**

अर्थः जो भैरवीं का मन्त्र बिना कवच के पाठ करता है/जपता है, वह विद्वान भी दरिद्र्य और मृत्यु को प्रप्त होता है ।
