Super Mario Kart is such a classic, and hearing Soyo Oka's perspective and memories making the soundtrack was awesome. While it obviously has shown its age a bit, it's still a blast to see how it all started. I grew up playing this one with friends and family, and always loved it, but 100% agree about the touchy steering controls lol. Excellent episode as always! Also, that skit...lmao!

Thank you for tuning in last night buddy. Soyo was great to give me her time even though we didn't speak the same language. I think that shows how passionate she was for the project to still take time to write her answers out so I can use them. One of my main issues is that I hate that the obstacles like the ice blocks for example are on the ground and hard to see. Man, I sucked at this! LOL I still can't stop laughing that your wife walked in on the skit and you had to explain to her what you were watching!!!

Great show! I did not start playing Mario Kart until Mario Kart Wii but it was cool to see and hear how it all began in 1992!

Hey buddy! Thanks for stopping by and watching, I personally love history so I enjoy seeing where series begin and learning the history behind them so I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it. My first real Mario Kart experience was Double-Dash on the GameCube so I wasn't too far behind with yours. Thanks for the comment! : )

Another awesome show! It's always better live with the crazy chat going on!
TigerChainsaw

Growing up I always played as Mario, but Yoshi is my choice now.
Also that "Do you believe in magic" McDonalds ad really brought back some memories. When I hear the real song I still think of the "big red shoes" line.

Hey, a fellow Mario player! Great to meet ya. Yoshi is also a great choice, I love his character design. In every TC Show, I put commercials in from the year that the game was released to try and bring the viewer back to that timeframe, I'm glad the commercial sparked some memories for you. Thanks for watching and leaving a great comment, hope to see you around!
