Spear was polish, Łódź-based project specializing in "anthemic songs based on trip-hop beats". It was formed in 1992 by Maciej Ożóg (b. 1971). Spear's first album "In Search Of Sparks" appeared in 1997 and was followed by "Dark Waters Of Light" (1998), "Of Silence" (1999) and "Saphire Flower" (2001). At present, Maciej Ożóg is a member of the Ben Zeen duo.

These are absolutely essential tricks to playing a spear, I'd name this video "Spear basics" to be honest.
Also, here are some insights I've gathered:
Cripple purges the entire buff as long as it gives move speed, which makes it insane against sword stacks/axe adrenaline. It has its own range which isn't related to attack range, so when it comes to boots you're much better off with harpoon.
The reflect ability gives you insane defense bonus, which makes it a lot better than people think, even against unreflectable stuff like curse
Impaler is actually the best PvE DPS because you can smack mobs in between casts, much unlike the first W
Leather is by far the best gear option because the attack speed passive is a great synergy with Q stacks. If you're unsure what to wear - can't go wrong with leather
Fully stacked second Q on a 2H spear gives you a longer range than the first Q - with a slow passive, you can make a hilarious kiting build

Can you cripple Iron will from swords? They have immunity to purge effect

to clarify with cripple. we can cripple ALL gathering boots BUT skinners workboots. You may test this with a friend.
I believe the invis to mobs part re-applies the movement speed every time thats why spear cripple wont purge skinner boots.
