there's no big surprise for you to realize
oh what to do now?
it's been quite the year on our little blue sphere
unnatural disasters everybody's after
what to do now?
don't be afraid of the fire that we're starting
open up your eyes to the times that we're living in
bring it on bring it on
apocalypse whenever armaggeddyon
bring it on bring it on
got my second amendment
stockpiled in my basement
bring it on bring it on
apocalypse whenever, whatever's going on
bring it on bring it on
i ain't scared i am prepared
go ahead and occupy wallstreet and the banks
at least youre asking questions
postive reflections
what you gonna do now? that's the question
been quite the year on our little blue sphere
they keep raising taxes everybody's asking
what you gonna do now now now now
sitting on the front lawn questioning the government
it's all bound to fall because nothing is permanent
it's not a matter of if it's a matter of when my friend
bring it on bring it on
apocalypse whenever armaggeddyon
bring it on bring it on
i got my second amendment
stockpiled in my basement
bring it on bring it on
apocalypse whenever, whatever's going on
bring it on bring it on
the math is pretty easy
be careful cause they're?
The song "Bring It On" by Spiritual Rez is a commentary on the current state of affairs in the world. The lyrics suggest that there is no big surprise anymore, that everything is happening right before our eyes. The singer implores the listener to open up their eyes to the times that we're living in. The world has experienced unnatural disasters and everyone is asking questions about what to do now. The singer declares that he wants to be a part of it all and he is not afraid of the fire that we're starting.
The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "Bring it on" while invoking the ideas of apocalypse and armageddon. The singer declares that he is prepared for whatever is going on and that he is not scared. He has his second amendment right (the right to bear arms) and has stockpiled in his basement, suggesting that he is ready for anything.
The song also addresses political and economic issues, like the Occupy Wall Street movement and rising taxes. The singer implies that the current system is bound to fall, and it's not a matter of if, but when. Overall, the song is a call to action for listeners to be aware of their surroundings, to ask questions, and to be prepared for whatever comes their way.
