[1] An indie pop band from Perth, Australia.
[2] A dark-wave trio from Bielefeld, Germany.
[1] Perth's Split Seconds formed in 2009 as an outlet for singer and guitarist Sean Pollard, following his previous band New Rules For Boats' hiatus. It eventually solidified into a six-piece band consisting of well-known local musicians, with Pollard accompanied by Rhys Davies from Faith In Plastics (guitar/vocals), former New Rules For Boats bandmate Ben Golby (keyboard/vocals), Jack Trewenack from The Jackards (drums/vocals), Vaughan Davies from Emperors (bass/vocals), and latest addition Todd Pickett from Abbe May & The Rockin' Pneumonia (guitar/vocals).
Split Seconds started 2011 in a blaze of glory, adding just about every summer festival to their resume, including the coveted Unearthed spot at the Big Day Out. Their debut release, self-titled EP Split Seconds, soon followed, with single Bed Down entering high rotation on alternative radio. They dominated the 2011 WAMI Awards, winning five awards including Best Male Vocalist, Best Indie Pop Act and Most Promising New Act. They have since supported many well-known artists including Sufjan Stevens, Tim Minchin, Little Red and Cloud Control, and increased their frequent flyer points by taking in national tours with The Panics, Owl Eyes and Jebediah.

[2] Germany's Split Seconds are from Bielefeld, forming in 2007. Before their break-up, the group consisted of Olli on vocals and keyboards, Petar on guitars and e-bow, and Moci on bass, drum programming and keyboards.

@sweetbabyjaysus Listening to this right now after so many years. Thanks so much! You don't happen to have the Coleman 7" EP released on Heliotrope by any chance, which you could put up? That one was brilliant and really hilarious, with those jokes in Italian dialect in between songs.
@canadianwasteland
uploaded a discography on my channel
@mikeattacks
@TheArchives Thanks, will check it out!
@jukeimane6493
Hate to sound cliche, but they(both bands) were ahead of their time. You could trick someone into thinking this is a Blood Brothers Usurp Synapse split.
@robingoodhue5401
Lol I was in Coleman Rip GEORGE!
@matthewcamirand1685
I was in Okara. Still cherish those memories of hangs in Ottawa at 5 Arlington. XO- Matt
